This series covers nuclear safety, radiation safety, transport safety and waste safety. The publication categories in the series are Safety Fundamentals, Safety Requirements and Safety Guides. \nInformation on the IAEA’s safety standards programme is available at the IAEA Internet site \n[http://www-ns.iaea.org/standards/](http://www-ns.iaea.org/standards/) \nThe site provides the texts in English of published and draft safety standards. The texts of safety standards issued in Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish, the IAEA Safety Glossary and a status report for safety standards under development are also available. For further information, please contact the IAEA at PO Box 100, 1400 Vienna, Austria. \nAll users of IAEA safety standards are invited to inform the IAEA of experience in their use (e.g. as a basis for national regulations, for safety reviews and for training courses) for the purpose of ensuring that they continue to meet users’ needs. Information may be provided via the IAEA Internet site or by post, as above, or by email [to Official.Mail@iaea.org](to Official.Mail@iaea.org). \nOTHER SAFETY RELATED PUBLICATIONS \nThe IAEA provides for the application of the standards and, under the terms of Articles III and VIII.C of its Statute, makes available and fosters the exchange of information relating to peaceful nuclear activities and serves as an intermediary among its Member States for this purpose. \nReports on safety and protection in nuclear activities are issued as Safety Reports, which provide practical examples and detailed methods that can be used in support of the safety standards. \nOther safety related IAEA publications are issued as Radiological Assessment Reports, the International Nuclear Safety Group’s INSAG Reports, Technical Reports and TECDOCs. The IAEA also issues reports on radiological accidents, training manuals and practical manuals, and other special safety related publications. Security related publications are issued in the IAEA Nuclear Security Series. \nDISPOSAL OF RADIOACTIVE WASTE \nThe following States are Members of the International Atomic Energy Agency: \nAFGHANISTAN ALBANIA \nALGERIA ANGOLA ARGENTINA \nARMENIA AUSTRALIA \nAUSTRIA AZERBAIJAN BAHRAIN \nBANGLADESH BELARUS \nBELGIUM \nBELIZE \nBENIN \nBOLIVIA \nBOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA BOTSWANA \nBRAZIL BULGARIA \nBURKINA FASO \nBURUNDI CAMBODIA \nCAMEROON \nCANADA \nCENTRAL AFRICAN \nREPUBLIC CHAD CHILE \nCHINA \nCOLOMBIA \nCONGO \nCOSTA RICA CÔTE D’IVOIRE CROATIA CUBA \nCYPRUS \nCZECH REPUBLIC DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC \nOF THE CONGO DENMARK DOMINICAN REPUBLIC \nECUADOR EGYPT \nEL SALVADOR ERITREA ESTONIA ETHIOPIA FINLAND FRANCE GABON GEORGIA \nGERMANY \nGHANA GREECE GUATEMALA HAITI \nHOLY SEE \nHONDURAS HUNGARY ICELAND \nINDIA \nINDONESIA \nIRAN, ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAQ \nIRELAND ISRAEL ITALY JAMAICA \nJAPAN JORDAN KAZAKHSTAN KENYA \nKOREA, REPUBLIC OF KUWAIT KYRGYZSTAN LATVIA \nLEBANON \nLESOTHO LIBERIA \nLIBYAN ARAB JAMAHIRIYA LIECHTENSTEIN \nLITHUANIA LUXEMBOURG MADAGASCAR \nMALAWI \nMALAYSIA MALI MALTA \nMARSHALL ISLANDS MAURITANIA \nMAURITIUS MEXICO \nMONACO \nMONGOLIA \nMONTENEGRO \nMOROCCO \nMOZAMBIQUE MYANMAR NAMIBIA NEPAL NETHERLANDS \nNEW ZEALAND NICARAGUA \nNIGER \nNIGERIA \nNORWAY OMAN PAKISTAN \nPALAU \nPANAMA \nPARAGUAY PERU PHILIPPINES POLAND \nPORTUGAL QATAR \nREPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA ROMANIA \nRUSSIAN FEDERATION SAUDI ARABIA SENEGAL \nSERBIA \nSEYCHELLES SIERRA LEONE \nSIN","cbCairr7ltv2GRRA","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCairr7ltv2GRRA","pdf",821149,83,"English","# IAEA Safety Standards Series\n## Other Safety Related Publications\n# Disposal of Radioactive Waste\n## IAEA Safety Standards Series No. SSR-5\n## Copyright Notice","[{\"question\":\"What is the IAEA Safety Standards Series used for?\",\"answer\":\"It is the series through which the IAEA establishes standards covering nuclear safety, radiation safety, transport safety and waste safety.\"},{\"question\":\"What publication categories are included in the IAEA Safety Standards Series?\",\"answer\":\"The series includes Safety Fundamentals, Safety Requirements and Safety Guides.\"},{\"question\":\"Which document is focused on disposal of radioactive waste in this text?\",\"answer\":\"The document identified as IAEA Safety Standards Series No. SSR-5 is titled “Disposal of Radioactive Waste – Specific Safety Requirements.”\"}]","IAEA SAFETY STANDARDS SERIES No. SSR-5 - DISPOSAL OF RADIOACTIVE WASTE - SPECIFIC SAFETY REQUIREMENTS | PDF",1790330718,209]
