Bokul dreams of becoming a photographer like his friend and customer, Shanto. Shanto lends Bokul his camera, encouraging him to practice and earn extra money by taking photos of tourists at the beach. While delivering the last order of the day, Bokul encounters a boy who speaks Rohingya, not Bangla, and overhears men making prejudiced remarks about refugees, questioning their presence and perceived benefits. Bokul reflects on his own struggles, having left school to work after his father's death to support his grandmother, and understands the financial hardships faced by many. Despite his own financial worries, Bokul is captivated by a charming scene of puppies playing on the beach. On his way home, he passes the crowded refugee camp, noting the stark difference from how it used to be. That evening, Bokul's grandmother patiently listens as he expresses his frustration, repeating the negative sentiments he heard about refugees, highlighting themes of economic hardship, cultural misunderstandings, and the impact of prejudice.","I am Bokul Asma Ul Husna Sanchita \nSayan Mukherjee \nBokul worked at a little tea shop in a town by the sea . Throughout the day, many people stopped by to take a break there . Bokul enjoyed chatting with them as he served sweet and salty snacks with steaming cups of milky, hot tea. \nShanto, a regular customer, became a good friend of his. Bokul looked up to him and called him bhaiya, meaning ‘big brother’ in Bangla. He wished he was a photographer, just like Shanto bhaiya. \nOne day, Shanto let him borrow his camera . “Keep it for a few days so you can practice,” he said.“And maybe earn some extra money atthe beach.” \nBokul was thrilled! Many tourists paid to get their photos taken by the sea . He couldn’t wait to finish work and try it out. \nDelivering his last order for the day, he noticed a boy around his own age, shopping at the pharmacy. He spoke in the Rohingya language, not Bangla.“Must be a refugee,”thought Bokul. \nNearby, a few men started muttering.“Why has he left the camp?” \n“I heard they get food and medicine there .”“While we barely make ends meet!” \nBokul understood their frustrations. When he lost his father, he left school to work atthe shop. He lived with his grandmother, but money was always short. \nAny extra earnings were useful for them. But finding customers at \nthe beach was not easy. \nHe was packing up to leave when he heard a yelp. It was an adorable scene! For a moment, he forgot his troubles. \nOn the way home, Bokul passed by the crowded refugee camp. All the trees were cut down to make space for shelters. \nHe missed the way it used to look. \nThat evening, Bokul felt heated. He repeated the things he heard about refugees. His grandmother patiently listened.","cbCaidbvB3igteGk","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaidbvB3igteGk","pdf",7484534,23,"English","en",105,"# I Am Bokul\n## Bokul's Dream\n## The Camera\n## Encountering
