The rulebook explains what proficiency means. \nSaving Throws. Your saving throw proficiencies are indicated by a in the Saving Throws list on the left. \nSkills. Your skill proficiencies are indicated by a in the Skills list on the left. \nEquipment. You have proficiency with all armor, shields, simple weapons, and martial weapons. \nLanguages \nYou can speak, read, and write Common, Draconic, Dwarvish, and Giant. \nAttacks \nYou start with the following weapons, which you can use to make attacks. \nBattleaxe. In melee (against a target within 5 feet of you), you can attack with your battleaxe. Roll 1d20 + 5 to see if you hit. If you do, the target takes 1d8 + 3 slashing damage, or 1d10 + 3 slashing damage if you wield the battleaxe with two hands (which means dropping your shield) . \nJavelin. In melee (against a target within 5 feet of you), you can attack with a javelin. You can also throw a javelin at a target up to 30 feet away, or up to 120 feet away with disadvantage on the attack roll. In either case, roll 1d20 + 5 to see if you hit. If you do, the target takes 1d6 + 3 piercing damage. \nPaladin \nPaladins swear oaths to gods, ancient orders, and great causes. A paladin’s oath is a powerful bond that turns a devout warrior into a blessed champion. You swore your oath to the god Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon, who is a patron of heroes and a champion of justice. \nThe paladin class gives you the following features. \nDivine Sense. As an action, you can open your senses to the presence of strong evil and powerful good. Until the end of your next turn, you know the location of any Celestial, Fiend, or Undead within 60 feet of you that is not behind total cover. You know the type of any being whose presence you sense, but not its identity. Within the same radius, you also detect the presence of anyplace or object that has been consecrated or desecrated. \nLay on Hands. Your blessed touch can heal wounds. You have a pool of healing power that replenishes when you take along rest. With that pool, you can restore a total of 5 hit points. \nAs an action, you can touch a creature and draw power from the pool to restore a number of hit points to that creature, up to the maximum amount remaining in your pool. \nAlternatively, you can expend 5 hit points from your pool of healing to cure the target of one disease or neutralize one poison affecting it. You can cure multiple diseases and neutralize multiple poisons with a single use of Lay on Hands, expending hit point separately for each one. \nThis feature has no effect on Undead or Constructs. \nAbout Humans \nHumans are the most numerous people of the Forgotten Realms. They live alongside elves, dwarves, halflings, and other peoples in villages, towns, and cities across the world. Human adventurers are often motivated to leave a lasting legacy. \n~~ Continued on back ~~ \nTM & © 2022 Wizards of the Coast L","cbCait7lgHyHRp0m","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCait7lgHyHRp0m","pdf",809502,"English","# Character Stats\n## Skills, Proficiencies, and Equipment\n## Attacks and Class Features\n## Oath, Background, and Personal Goal","[{\"question\":\"What are the paladin’s key class features described here?\",\"answer\":\"The sheet presents Divine Sense (detecting strong evil/powerful good and consecrated/desecrated locations) and Lay on Hands (healing hit points and curing disease or neutralizing poison).\"},{\"question\":\"What starting equipment does the noble human paladin receive?\",\"answer\":\"It lists chain mail, battleaxe, shield, five javelins, a holy symbol, and a full set of adventuring supplies such as torches, rations, waterskin, rope, clothes, signet ring, scroll of pedigree, and basic camping gear.\"},{\"question\":\"How do the battleaxe and javelin attacks work on this sheet?\",\"answer\":\"Battleaxe attacks use 1d20 + 5 and deal 1d8 + 3 slashing (or 1d10 + 3 when wielded two-handed, dropping the shield).
