All freshmen must take 2 semesters of World Language, 1 semester of PE, and at least 1 semester of Fine Art. Selecting a 1-semester Fine Art allows your son to choose an additional elective (see Step 11) . When selecting a 1-semester PE or Fine Art course, always choose “Add course request” for the “Any Term” option. Make sure to click “Save” when you’ve made all your selections.  \nSTEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS  \nSTEP 1. Log in to MySchoolApp. From the “Children” tab, select your son's name.  \nSTEP 2. Click on “Course Requests”  \nSTEP 3. Select your son’s desired World Language course: Options:  \n Chinese 1 S1  \n Latin 1 S1  \n Spanish 1 S1  \nIf your son tested into a higher level, this will be adjusted later STEP 4. Click “Add course request” again for the Semester 2 version of the language course  \nSTEP 7. Select your son’s desired PE course:  \nOptions:  \n Phys Ed & Health 1  \n Beginning Weight Training  \nSTEP 8. Click “Add course request” for the “Any Term” option when selecting the PE requirement.  \nSTEP 9. Choose your son’s Fine Art requirement:  \nOptions:  \n Studio Art (1 semester)  \n Acting & Improvisation (1 semester)  \n Beginning Instrumental Music (2 semesters)  \n For students who have never played an instrument, but would like to learn  \n Instrumental Ensemble (2 semesters)  \n For students with some background in a musical instrument. To select an alternate course, click “Add course request.” Select the alternate course, click “Add course as alternate”, and select the appropriate course it should be an alternate for.  \nEdit or Remove a Course:  \nIf you realize you made a mistake, click on the course in the \"My Requests\" box  \nClick “Remove from my requests” to delete a course.
