Please delete these notes before printing  \nHow to Harvest Quality Honey Equipment Needed  \n1. 2 or 3 buckets (1 to carry the honeycomb, 1 to strain the honey into and 1 with clean water in if you do not have running water nearby) .  \n2. A cloth with an open mesh which you use to strain the honey (separate it from the wax) . Your cloth must be big enough to cover the top of one of the buckets.  \n3. A knife to cut the honeycomb into pieces.  \n4. If you do not have clean running water, you must have a third bucket of clean water so you can keep CLEAN your HANDS and the UTENSILS.  \nMethod  \nIMPORTANT: YOUR HANDS and ALL the UTENSILS MUST be CLEAN  \n1. The honeycomb MUST be carried to a place AWAY from the bees.  \n2. Stretch the mesh cloth over the top of a clean empty bucket and tie it securely around the top of the bucket (like a drum) .  \n3. Cut the honeycomb into SMALL pieces to help release the honey from the wax.  \n4. Pour the cut-up honeycomb onto the straining cloth on the second bucket.  \n5. Leave the honey to drain through the cloth into the bucket until most of the honey has gone.
