It finishes with clearing guidelines and choices for line-only or shaded and background coloring.","How-To Draw Eleven from Stranger Things  \nby Janet Yeager  \nMaterials:  \n-2 pieces white 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock  \n-1 HB \\#2 pencil  \n-1 Hi-polymer eraser OR 1 Clic Eraser-Pentel brand recommended for both  \n-5 colored pencils or crayons (Crayola is fine) -1 peach, 1 brown, 1 dark blue, 1 medium blue, 1 yellow, 1 pink  \n-(OPTIONAL) 1 Pigma Mircron black archival ink pen size 08 or OR any fine-tipped black felt pen  \nWith your pencil, lightly draw a circle. Add a vertical and horizontal line through the middle of the circle. These are guidelines which you will erase later. Measure the distance from the top or bottom the circle to the horizontal line. Measure this distance from the bottom of the circle and make a mark. This will determine the placement of the chin.  \nBelow the horizonal line, draw two almond shapes at angles for the eyes. Draw a larger and smaller circle which will overlap the top part of the eyes. Erase the sections which are not inside the eye. The larger circle will become the iris and the smaller one will be the pupil.  \nUse your pencil to lightly draw a small circle atthe bottom of the circle on the vertical line. Draw two smaller circles on either side, located slightly above the larger circle. These circles are guidelines to draw the nose. With a heavier pencil line, draw over the bottom section of the circles. In between the nose and mark indicating where the chin will be, draw a flat ‘ M’ shape. This ‘ M’ shape is the center section of the mouth. Draw the top lip with another flat ‘ M’ shape. Draw the bottom lip with a flat ‘ U’ shape.  \nDraw the eyebrows with a series of interconnected diagonal lines. Position the eyebrows above the eyes on the horizonal line. To draw the face outlines, draw two diagonal lines below the horizonal line. One will be on the right, the other on the left. These lines will converge towards the vertical line. Stop the two lines atthe middle point between the lips and chin. Atthe bottom of each line, draw curved lines converging toward the vertical line. End the lines slightly below the lip. Join the lines with a flat‘ U’ shape.  \nFrom the horizontal line, add curved lines on the right-and left-hand side of the face. Stop the lines once you reach the top of the circle. Join the two lines with a flat ‘ U’ shape. One line will be on the left and the other on the right. At the bottom of the neck draw two curved lines which join ina ‘V’ shape. This will be part of the shirt. Draw the collar with two curved lines coming from the center of the neck. Add a series of diagonal lines forming triangular shapes. The diagonals will meet at the bottom of the ‘V’ shape.  \nDraw the shoulders with a flat, upside-down ‘ U’shape. The ‘ U’ will curve up toward the vertical line, and down as it moves away from it. When finished, erase the sections that pass through the collar and neck. Draw the shirt sleeves with two modified ‘ L’ shapes. The ‘ L’ will be drawn facing the correct direction on the left, but backwards on the right. Attach the ‘ Ls’ to the ends of the upside-down ‘ U.’ Create the body with two diagonals drawn slightly above the end of each 'L.’ The lines will move downward and toward the center of your paper.
