The narrative begins in Yabiufa village in Unggai, where a bird named Hiya Nogo Nogo discovers a beautiful, unfamiliar tree and decides to bring some seeds back to its home. Due to discomfort, the bird carries the branch with seeds in its beak. After resting in the garden of an old man and his wife, Hiya Nogo Nogo drops the seed. The old couple discovers strange plants growing in their garden and allows them to grow. Three years later, these plants have become large trees, admired by the people. They begin to collect seeds and plant them in their own gardens, leading to the widespread growth of the Yarr tree throughout Yabiufa and Unggai. The document includes a snippet of a song in an indigenous language, with its English translation, and a comprehension question related to the protagonist bird's name.","How the Yarr Tree Moved from Bena Bena to Unggai \nSL \nSchool Journal Junior 1-SL, 2008-V1 .0 \nEnglish Traditional Story \n1 \nA long time ago in the mountainous ranges of Unggai, the people had never seen a yarr tree. \nAt that time, there lived in Yabiufa village in Unggai, a bird called Hiya \nWhile Hiya Nogo Nogo was singing, it noticed that the tree it was sitting on was very beautiful. \nIt had never seen a tree like it in its entire life. \nIt liked the tree so much that it stayed there until evening. \n2 \n3 \nIt decided to take some seeds of the tree back to its home.
