It was an important festival day for the Jewish people. While they were eating, Jesus told them that the Jewish leaders were trying to find him and kill him. He said one of the disciples was going to tell the Jewish leaders how to find him. They were all astonished and wondered which oneof them was the traitor.  \nJésus et ses disciples mangent ensemble un repas pour la dernière fois. C’est le repas de la Pâque. C’est une fête importante pour le peuple juif. Pendant qu’ils mangent, Jésus leur dit qu’un des disciples va le trahir et le livrer aux chefs juifs. Ils sont très étonnés et se demandent : «Est-ce que c’est moi ?»  \nWhen it was night, they went up to a garden topray.  \nOn the way to the garden, Peter told Jesus,“I will never leave you even if everyone else does!” But Jesus told him,“You will say you don’t know me three times this very night.”  \nQuand il fait nuit, ils vont ensemble dans un jardin pour prier.  \nPierre dit à Jésus : «Je ne t’abandonnerai jamais, même si tous les autres t’abandonnent ! » Mais Jésus lui répond : «Pierre, ce soir, tu vas dire trois fois que tu ne me connais pas !»  \nWhen they got to the garden, Jesus went off a little way and began to talk to his Father. He said,“Father, is there any way you can keep me from this suffering and death? But I don’t want to do what I want, but what you want.”  \nQuand ils arrivent dans le jardin, Jésus s’éloigne seul pour prier. Il dit à son Père : «Père, est-ce que c’est possible que j’évite cette mort ? Maisfais ce que tu veux et non pas ce que je veux.»  \nAfter a while Judas, one of Jesus’ disciples, came with a crowd of people with clubs and swords to  \narrest Jesus. It was dark so Judas went up to Jesus and kissed him to show the crowd where he was.  \nPlus tard, Judas, un des disciples de Jésus, arrivedans le jardin avec une foule en colère. La foule porte des bâtons et des épées. Ils veulent arrêter Jésus. Comme il fait noir, Judas embrasse Jésus pour montrer qui c’est.  \nThey took Jesus to the Jewish High Priest. They tried to get him to say something for which they could condemn him. When Jesus told them,“You will see me sitting beside the Almighty in heaven,”they were furious.
