To address this knowledge gap in the literature, we explored the interactions between these pathways by driving HOTAIR expression levels in HeLa cells. Our findings reveal that HOTAIR is a key regulator in sustaining the activation of both signaling pathways. Specifically, altering HOTAIR expression—either by knockdown or overexpression—significantly influenced the transcriptional activity of the PI3K/AKT and Wnt/β-catenin pathways. Additionally, we discovered that HIF1α directly induces HOTAIR transcription, which in turn leads to ","cbCainju0bR5QLtv","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCainju0bR5QLtv","pdf",3259205,16,"English","# Introduction\n## HOTAIR regulation and signaling pathway context\n# Experimental focus\n## Modulating HOTAIR in HeLa cells\n## HIF1α-driven HOTAIR and PTEN epigenetic silencing","[{\"question\":\"What is the main function of HOTAIR in cervical cancer signaling described in this article?\",\"answer\":\"HOTAIR sustains activation of both the PI3K/AKT and Wnt/β-catenin pathways in cervical cancer, acting as a key regulator of their continued signaling activity.\"},{\"question\":\"How were HOTAIR effects on the pathways tested in the study?\",\"answer\":\"The study drove HOTAIR expression levels in HeLa cells and assessed outcomes after HOTAIR knockdown or overexpression, which significantly influenced the pathways’ transcriptional activity.\"},{\"question\":\"What links HIF1α to sustained pathway activation according to the findings?\",\"answer\":\"HIF1α directly induces HOTAIR transcription; HOTAIR then contributes to epigenetic silencing of the PTEN promoter via DNMT1, leading to sustained activation of both signaling pathways.\"}]","HOTAIR Promotes the Hyperactivation of PI3K/Akt and Wnt/β-Catenin Signaling Pathways via PTEN Hypermethylationin Cervical Cancer | PDF",1790016377]
