evidence that colleges anduniversities would be able to use the full amount of funds that could be appropriated for con-struction of undergraduate academic facilities under title I of the act,the American Councilon Education and its constituent organizations have urged their member institutions to ad-vise their congressmen and members of the House Appropriations Subcommittee of theirplans to use academic facilities funds. \nLogan Wilson, president of the American Council on Education,in a follow-up to histestimony of March 16(see Bulletin,Vol.XIII,No.7),has called the attention of identical bill was introduced in the Senate as \nS 2529 by Senator Lister Hill (D-Ala.),chairman of the Senate Labor and Public WelfareCommittee. \nThe bills would authorize: \n● A four-year grant program for the construction of new schools of nursing, for the majorexpansion of existing schools, and for the replacement or rehabilitation of existing teachingfacilities.A total appropriation of $110 million, including $35 million for collegiate schools($5 million for fiscal 1966 and $10 million for each of the next three years)and $75 millionfor associate degree and diploma schools($15 million for fiscal 1966 and $20 million foreach of the next three years).Federal share of the grant would be up to 662/3 percent fornew schools or major expansion of existing schools,up to 50 percent for other
