Services and fees vary from one program to the next and are outlined in this guide. To make this process easier, this guide ad‐ dresses common questions one may have when deciding on a pro‐ gram, such as, do they offer the GED test or the CAHSEE exam? Does this program offer GED prep classes? How much is the GED test? And so much more! \nAll services are available for transition age youth, however, if you area current or former foster youth, or a youth from the juvenile proba‐ tion system, you may be eligible to have your registration and test fees covered by Alameda County Independent Living Skills Program (ILSP) . \nDisclaimer and Acknowledgement \nThis booklet is not a comprehensive guide to all of the GED and High School Diploma providers in and around Alameda County. The guide presents organizations that Beyond Emancipation (B:E) has worked with or researched. Please note that the guide is updated twice a year and you can contact B:E to request the most recent version.
