HESIA2 is an assessment used for certain CVTC health programs and helps determine preparedness for the program. \n1. Where can I take the HESI? \nYou have two options: \nOn campus \n• Locations: Business Education Center (Eau Claire) or River Falls \n• Cost: $60 \n• Payment: Pay at CVTC on the day of your test \nRemote (online) \n• Cost: $75 \n• [Email](Email assessmentcenter@cvtc.edu)[ ](Email assessmentcenter@cvtc.edu)[assessmentcenter@cvtc.edu](Email assessmentcenter@cvtc.edu) to receive a scheduling link through ProctorU. \n• You'll pay ProctorU directly. \n2. How long is the test? \n• Maximum time: 4 hours \n3. When should Itake the HESI exam? \nWe recommend taking the HESI after completing General Anatomy & Physiology. What subjects are on the test? \nIf you're applying to: \n• Dental Hygiene \n• Physical Therapist Assistant \n• Radiography \nYou'll take: \n• Reading Comprehension (55 questions) -Reading comprehension measures the capability to understand reading passages. The terminology is best understood and deciphered using context clues. \n• Anatomy& Physiology (30 questions) -Anatomy& physiology covers anatomical structures, general terminology, and systems; it primarily covers content taught in General Anatomy & Physiology. \nMath is not required for these programs; however, because it may be required for other health programs, we recommend you take the Math section in the event you change programs later. \nIf you're applying to: \n• Nursing \n• Practical Nursing \n• Diagnostic Medical Sonography \n• Nursing Advanced Placement \nYou'll also take: \n• Math (55 questions) -Math includes addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, proportions, fractions, decimals, conversions, household measures, and dosage calculations. When do I get my scores? \n• In person: Immediately after you finish your exam. \n• Remote: By email after we process your scores ( Monday–Friday, 8:00 a. m.–4:30 p. m.) . \n• You may also log in to your Evolve account to viewyour scores-To access your results, click the “Exam Results” link in the navigation menu. \n7.
