The familiar Charmed Leaf Tea House appears unchanged, yet Kazrian’s determination not to think of Lucie Fields is continually unsettled by intrusive memories tied to the place. As Bloom Season has not begun, the town is quiet, the tea house is closed, and only small enchanted details hint at unresolved magic in the kitchen.","[OceanofPDF.com](OceanofPDF.com) \nHearts & Honey Light \nBy Rachel Morgan \nCopyright © 2026 Rachel Morgan \nThis is a work of fiction. The same worn stone steps. The same heavy oak door with its intricate carvings of teacups and leaves. The same vines climbing the walls. Even the same clusters of tiny purple flowers that bloomed year round, enchanted to defy the seasonal changes. \nKazrian Rowanwood stood on the opposite side of the street, hands in his coat pockets, conducting a perfectly rational assessment of the building and absolutely, certainly not thinking about the young woman who might be within. \nHe had not thought about her yesterday, when he’d stepped through the Veil Gate from the Shaded Lands for the first time in almost three years. He had not thought about her as the enchanted carriage had carried him through the familiar streets of Bloomhaven to Rowanwood House, where his grandmother resided for most of the year and where he himself had once spent every Bloom Season. And she was most certainly not the first thing that had surfaced in his mind when he’d opened his eyes this morning. \nNo. He was most determinedly not thinking of Miss Lucie Fields. \nWho was likely no longer Miss Lucie Fields at all, he reminded himself yet again. Three years was more than enough time for a woman to marry. She was probably Mrs Lucie Somebody by now, bearing a surname that belonged to a man she actually loved, living a life that had nothing whatsoever to do with a fae boy she had once told, quite clearly, that she did not care for in that way. \nKazrian wouldn’t know. He had left Bloomhaven for the Shaded Lands with his sister Aurelise after her marriage to Prince Ryden and had decided, \nquite simply, not to return. Though Aurelise traveled regularly to Bloomhaven and across the United Fae Isles, Kazrian had told her he preferred not to receive news of Lucie’s life. And his twin, who was the only person in the world who knew the full, humiliating scope of what he’d felt and what he’d been told in return, had honored that request. \nNo one else in his family had ever known he’d been in love with Lucie at all, so if she had married, they would not have thought to mention it to him. Why would they? To the rest of the Rowanwoods, Lucie had only ever been the human girl in their grandmother ’s tea house kitchen. \nNot the person who had rearranged the entire architecture of his chest when he’d first laid eyes on her at age fifteen. \nBut that was beside the point. The point was the building, and the difficulty was that the tea house and Lucie had become inextricable in Kazrian’s mind. He could not think of one without the other surfacing, unbidden, like a gear that turned a second gear whether you wanted it to or not. He had known her here. Every memory of her existed within these walls. It was a design flaw in his own makeup, and he had not yet identified a repair. \nNot that any of this should matter. Whatever he had once felt for Lucie, he did not feel it now. He was quite resolved on that point. It was merely the memories—persistent, unwelcome things—and the fact that Bloomhaven was far quieter than he had ever experienced it before, which afforded those memories more space","cbCaiaslOrp5ckNG","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiaslOrp5ckNG","pdf",2667839,6,361,"English","en",105,"# Chapter One\n## Three Years, and the Charmed Leaf Tea House Had Not Changed","[{\"question\":\"Who is Kazrian Rowanwood when the story begins?\",\"answer\":\"Kazrian Rowanwood is a fae boy who has returned to Bloomhaven after nearly three years in the Shaded Lands.\"},{\"question\":\"Why is the Charmed Leaf Tea House significant to Kazrian?\",\"answer\":\"The tea house is inseparable from Kazrian’s memories of Lucie, making it difficult for him to focus on anything else.\"},{\"question\":\"What does Kazrian notice at the back door of the tea house?\",\"answer\":\"He hears faint tapping and hears a humming rhythm that seems linked to the tea house’s enchantments.\"}]","Hearts & Honey Light - Chapter 1 - Three Years, and the Charmed Leaf Tea House Had Not Changed | PDF",1785473840,556,{"code":4,"msg":31,"data":32},"ok",{"site_id":24,"language":23,"slug":33,"title":13,"keywords":34,"description":14,"schema_data":35,"social_meta":87,"head_meta":89,"extra_data":91,"updated_unix":28},"hearts-honey-light-chapter-1-three-years-and-the-charmed-leaf-tea-house-had-not-changed","",{"@graph":36,"@context":86},[37,54,69],{"@type":38,"itemListElement":39},"BreadcrumbList",[40,44,48,51],{"item":41,"name":42,"@type":43,"position":11},"https://docshare.wps.com","Home","ListItem",{"item":45,"name":46,"@type":43,"position":47},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/","Document",2,{"item":49,"name":12,"@type":43,"position":50},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/story-novel/",3,{"item":52,"name":13,"@type":43,"position":53},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/hearts-honey-light-chapter-1-three-years-and-the-charmed-leaf-tea-house-had-not-changed/115473/",4,{"url":52,"name":13,"@type":55,"author":56,"headline":13,"publisher":58,"fileFormat":61,"inLanguage":23,"description":14,"dateModified":62,"datePublished":63,"encodingFormat":61,"isAccessibleForFree":64,"interactionStatistic":65},"DigitalDocument",{"name":9,"@type":57},"Person",{"url":41,"name":59,"@type":60},"DocShare","Organization","application/pdf","2026-08-17","2026-07-31",true,{"@type":66,"interactionType":67,"userInteractionCount":20},"InteractionCounter",{"@type":68},"ViewAction",{"@type":70,"mainEntity":71},"FAQPage",[72,78,82],{"name":73,"@type":74,"acceptedAnswer":75},"Who is Kazrian Rowanwood when the story begins?","Question",{"text":76,"@type":77},"Kazrian Rowanwood is a fae boy who has returned to Bloomhaven after nearly three years in the Shaded Lands.","Answer",{"name":79,"@type":74,"acceptedAnswer":80},"Why is the Charmed Leaf Tea House significant to Kazrian?",{"text":81,"@type":77},"The tea house is inseparable from Kazrian’s memories of Lucie, making it difficult for him to focus on anything else.",{"name":83,"@type":74,"acceptedAnswer":84},"What does Kazrian notice at the back door of the tea house?",{"text":85,"@type":77},"He hears faint tapping and hears a humming rhythm that seems linked to the tea house’s enchantments.","https://schema.org",{"og:url":52,"og:type":88,"og:title":13,"og:site_name":59,"og:description":14},"article",{"robots":90,"canonical":52},"index,follow",{"doc_id":7,"site_id":24},{"code":4,"msg":5,"data":93},[94,97,101,105,110,114,119,124,129,132,136],{"id":11,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":12,"show_sort_weight":95,"slug":96},90,"story-novel",{"id":47,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":98,"show_sort_weight":99,"slug":100},"Literature",80,"literature",{"id":53,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":102,"show_sort_weight":103,"slug":104},"Exam",70,"exam",{"id":106,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":107,"show_sort_weight":108,"slug":109},5,"Comic",60,"comic",{"id":20,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":111,"show_sort_weight":112,"slug":113},"Technology",50,"technology",{"id":115,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":116,"show_sort_weight":117,"slug":118},7,"Healthcare",40,"healthcare",{"id":120,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":121,"show_sort_weight":122,"slug":123},8,"Research & Report",30,"research-report",{"id":125,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":126,"show_sort_weight":127,"slug":128},9,"Religion & Spirituality",20,"religion-spirituality",{"id":127,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":130,"show_sort_weight":127,"slug":131},"World Cup","world-cup",{"id":133,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":134,"show_sort_weight":133,"slug":135},10,"Lifestyle","lifestyle",{"id":137,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":138,"show_sort_weight":106,"slug":139},19,"General","general"]
