I would take the time to plan for my postpartum. \nIn my pregnancies, I spent loads of time reading all the apps and books about baby’s development, created P interest \nboards with nursery inspiration, took classes and read lots \nabout prepping for labour and delivery. \nI did not, however, spend any time considering my own needs for healing and adjusting to motherhood with a newborn, perhaps the biggest transition in the whole pregnancy journey. \n~~ 02 ~~ \nOne of the absolute best ways to prep for postpartum is to spend some time stocking your freezer! \nHaving a freezer full of done-for-you meals ( and snacks!) means less grocery shopping, less food prep, and less cooking with a newborn. \nEven better when you know the food you’ve prepped supports your critical nutrition needs for healing, recovery, mental health, and breastfeeding. \nWant to know more about your postpartum nutrient needs and get meal plans and recipes that are all freezer friendly? It’s all here in the Ultimate Postpartum Nutrition Guide). \nSo let’s get to it! \n Lindsay \n03 \nWhy Stock Your Freezer with Postpartum Healing Foods? \nPregnancy is a very nutritionally expensive task! It feels great knowing your body will provide nutrients to baby, but we also need to consider where those nutrients are coming from – you! \nBecause so many nutrients are needed to grow a human, a \npostpartum mother is often very depleted in key nutrients. Being \nnutritionally depleted can lead to low energy, fatigue, irritability, \nlow mood, hair loss, low libido, and difficulty recovering. \nThe good news is that eating enough nutrient dense food can \nsupport your recovery as your body work s to repair tissues that were damaged during birth, shift to postpartum mode (the biggest hormone shift in your life ), combat postpartum stress, and replete nutrients. \nWhat you eat postpartum can also be beneficial for breastfeeding (both your supply of milk and the nutritional composition of the \nmilk you make are impacted by what you eat) . \nThis guide will walk you though what foods to prioritize, the best types of meals to freeze, and the steps to follow to stock your \nfreezer for postpartum. \nIf you want to go deeper and learn lots about your specific postpartum nutrient needs, get practical advice on how to eat well with a baby, and get meal plans and freezer-friendly recipes to \nlean on, check out The Ultimate Postpartum Nutrition Guide. \n~~ 04 ~~ \nTop 3 Postpartum Meals to Freeze: \nWarm, broth-based Meals \nWarm, broth-based meals like soups and stews are ideal for postpartum because they are hydrating, gentle on your digestive system and make it easier for you to absorb the needed nutrients. \nWhen packed with veggies and proteins, and based on bone broth and other amazing liquids like coconut milk, these meals are amazing to freeze to nourish you well, especially in the first few weeks. \n05 \nOne-handed snacks \nMeals are amazing-and you need them! But you also need foods that are possible to eat with a baby on your chest (which is most of the day!) . \nI have so many clients who froze food with their first baby-only to realize they had dinners ready, but nothing for them to eat therest of the day! \nEnergy balls, egg cups, homemade muffins and granola, protein pancakes and meatballs are all nutrient ","cbCaif0RUFBdbm5X","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaif0RUFBdbm5X","pdf",13992125,17,"English","# Why Stock Your Freezer with Postpartum Healing Foods?\n## How Freezer Meals Help Recovery\n# Top 3 Postpartum Meals to Freeze\n## Warm, broth-based meals\n## One-handed snacks\n## Prepped proteins\n# 40 Foods For The Fourth Trimester\n## What Are Postpartum Healing Foods?","[{\"question\":\"Why is it beneficial to stock your freezer for postpartum healing?\",\"answer\":\"A freezer full of ready meals and snacks reduces grocery shopping, food prep, and cooking time with a newborn.
