It ’s a gift to support our volunteer work with folks that care about our city and business community.
Highlights of 2025 include the following.
- Brand new website! We kicked off the new year with a brand new website. As one of my goals as the HVBA President, the purpose of the new website was to create more opportunity for authentic connection, on a pretty, more seamless website.
- Consistent Networking Socials. As many in the membership asked for a second monthly meeting opportunity, the intent of the Networking Social is to provide networking opportunities on the second Wednesday of the month from 4-6 p. m. We ’ve had a great showing and look forward to continuing in 2026.
- Community Outreach. By being a City Sponsor for the second straight year, the HVBA has had booths at many city events including Concerts in the Park, the 4 th of July, Oktoberfest, and the most recent, Happy Valley Tree Lighting. This has allowed HVBA members to sign up and be present, in front o f its community, at our booth throughout these events.
- Youth Entrepreneurs Program. What a treat to continue to sponsor the City of Happy Valley ’s Youth Entrepreneur Program. Members show up and support the youth, along with their families, during big city events.
- 20th Anniversary Celebration. We celebrated 20 years by throwing a party! This event truly memorialized that the present is our true gift. Time is never wasted ifyou succumb to your authentic self.
- Official HVBA Day – November 4. Thankful that the City of Happy Valley, its Councilors, and Mayor proclaimed November 4 as the Official Happy Valley Business Alliance Day.
What ’s to come in 2026? Happy Holidays.
I look forward to our paths crossing soon, René

| In this newsletter you’ll find: | |
| --- | --- |
| Recap of November Keynote Speaker | |
| HVBA
Networking Social | |
| Win HV News Exposure for Your Business | |
| City of Happy Valley Happenings | |
| Kudos shared from HVBA Members | |
| Member Business Spotlight | |
| Updates from City, County Leaders | |
| Save the Date:
-January Social Event
-January Meeting | |
| | |

Visit Us Online [at www. For more than 50 years, MOWP has been meeting the social and nutritional needs of older adults in our community.
Their focus is to provide healthy meals and keep seniors connected. They operate using food as the entree into a senior’s life. This is accomplished by the “Friendly Chat Program” that utilizes 2,000 volunteers connecting with seniors via regular phone calls. During 2024 MOWP served 1.5 million meals, with 1 million to seniors as well as .5 million to children.
Service is provided to eligible participants 60 years or older.
