This guideline specifies monitoring procedure, sampling technique and monitoring strategy for airborne chemicals hazardous to health. An employer who uses or handles chemicals hazardous to health specified in Regulation 3 of the USECHH Regulations, and in which there exists potential that any workers maybe exposed to chemicals hazardous to health at work, is advised to refer to this guideline. \nThis guideline is to be used by competent persons or employers who wish to conduct exposure monitoring for chemicals hazardous to health in compliance with the USECHH Regulations. The competent persons must be registered with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health. The competent persons are expected to be familiar with this guideline. \nDirector General \nDepartment of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia \n2022 \nACKNOWLEDGEMENTS \nDepartment of Occupat iona l Safety and Health \nThe Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) wishes to thank and acknowledge the members of the Drafting Committee (Jawatankuasa Penggubalan bagi Pindaan Guidelines on Monitoring of Airborne Chemical Hazardous to Health 2022) for their contribution towards the preparation of this guideline. \nDrafting Committee \n1.
