Please watch our 􀂼 ‘Guidance for BTEC Students on completing their UCAS Apply form’ video , which takes you through each step of completing the UCAS form . \nBelow are some helpful tips when completing your UCAS application. \nTop tips \nV \nV \nV \nV \nDouble check the entry requirements of the universities that you wish to apply to. Some courses require an A level as well as a BTEC and some require you to have taken certain BTEC units. If the entry requirements are not clear on the website, contact the university to get full details of what they would want from you. \nPlease ensure you use the same name on your UCAS application form as on your BTEC registration (i.e. your legal name) . This enables us to successfully identify you and send your results to UCAS on time. \nMake sure that you put the correct title for the qualification on your application form. There are many different BTEC subjects, each with several different sizes. If you put down the wrong title, it may mean that you don’t get an offer or receive an offer you can’t meet. Please note that the BTEC Nationals (AAQ), have an abbreviated title as a drop-down option on the UCAS form, e.g.“Pearson Level 3 AAQ in Applied Science (Extended Cert)”. \nPlease list which unit titles you are studying as part of the BTEC. \nThis is really important for STEM and health-related degrees, where unitbased offers can often be made. Some universities will reject applications outright if unit titles are not listed on the UCAS application form. \nYou can get additional help with your application from: \n􀂼 The Complete University Guide -detailed guidance on the whole process. \n􀂼 The Which University Guide -helpful information and advice for BTEC learners. \n| V 1.0 | Feb 25","cbCaiaw1u0WxRPjw","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiaw1u0WxRPjw","pdf",121556,"English","# Top Tips for UCAS Application\n## University Entry Requirements\n## Registration Name Consistency\n## Qualification Title Accuracy\n## Listing BTEC Unit Titles\n## Additional Application Support","[{\"question\":\"Why is it important to list specific BTEC unit titles on the UCAS form?\",\"answer\":\"Some universities, especially those offering STEM and health-related degrees, make unit-based offers.
