They encouraged the authorities to strengthen domestic resource mobilization, improve human capital and address the constraints that limit private-sector investment to improve public infrastructure. They also emphasized the importance of strengthening anti-corruption reforms, accountability, and promoting the rule of law to achieve better development outcomes. Directors encouraged close coordination between the Bank, IFC, and MIGA as well as the collaboration with other development partners, including the IMF and the IDB, in these areas.  \nDirectors stressed the importance of continued efforts in promoting greater inclusiveness of women and Indigenous peoples as well as the development objectives in the field of child malnutrition. They called for attention to preserving Guatemala’s natural capital and looked forward to the completion of the CCDR and the incorporation of its findings into the WBG program during the Completion and Learning Review process.  \nDirectors highlighted the issue of delays in approving Bank operations and inquired about the timing of this CPF.
