If the booklets have marks in them, the marks need to be removed by departmental staff prior to sample marking should the booklet be selected. \nThe recommended procedure for scoring student responses is as follows: \n1. Read the Marking Guide. \n2. Study the student samples provided and the rationales for the allotted scores. \n3. Determine the mark for the student’s response by comparing its features with the Marking Guide descriptions. The descriptions and samples only typify a student’s response to a given question; an exact match is not anticipated. \nIrregularities in Provincial Tests \nDuring the administration of provincial tests, supervising teachers may encounter irregularities. Markers may also encounter irregularities during local marking sessions. The appendix provides examples of such irregularities as well as procedures to follow to report irregularities. \nIf ","cbCaidQCwTwr5oT5","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaidQCwTwr5oT5","pdf",1077797,78,"English","# Marking Guidelines\n# Irregularities in Provincial Tests\n# Presentation of the Student Samples\n# Vehicle Finance\n# Geometry and Trigonometry\n# Statistics\n# Home Finance\n# Precision Measurement\n# Probability\n# Appendix: Irregularities in Provincial Tests\n# Irregular Test Booklet Report","[{\"question\":\"What scoring process does the guide recommend for student responses?\",\"answer\":\"Read the Marking Guide, study the provided student samples and rationales, then determine the mark by comparing the response features with the guide descriptions.\"},{\"question\":\"How should markers handle scoring sheets marked only with “0” and/or “NR”?\",\"answer\":\"Document the situation on the Irregular Test Booklet Report when the scoring sheet shows “0” and/or “NR” only (e.g., the student was present but attempted no questions).\"},{\"question\":\"What information is included when presenting student samples for constructed-response questions?\",\"answer\":\"Each question is presented with the test item number as it appears in the student booklet, followed by student sample responses with the allocated mark(s) and the rationale for those marks.\"}]","Grade 12 Essential Mathematics Achievement Test - Marking Guide - June 2013 | PDF",197]
