Emphasizes God’s nature as eternal, invisible, infinite, and personally relatable, and presents creation as orderly and intentionally good. Describes humanity as created in God’s image to reflect His character and steward His creation. Connects male and female equality and complementary roles to responsibility for work, care, and flourishing within a local and global scope.","God's story-our story \nEnglish \nGod's story-our story \nEnglish \n[http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/](http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/)[ ](http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/)[You may not use this work for commercial purposes. Licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. \nThere are certain questions to which every human being wants answers: \nWhere do I come from? \nWho am I? \nWhere am I going? \nWhy am I here? \nAnd then: What story am I part of? \nThe answers given deep inside determine how a person lives. \nThe real answers to these questions can transform the story of a person's life. \nThe story, God's story, begins at the beginning. \nIn the beginning, God \nONE GOD, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, God the Trinity. \nBy nature, he is \n· eternal, without beginning and without end,· invisible (God is spirit), \n· infinite (all-powerful, omniscient, omnipresent),· and also relatable personal (God has a mind, a will, emotions), \nHe is Yahweh,(and many other names) He is the Creator, \nHe is \"I AM\", God was there. \n\"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth . \" (Gen. 1:1) \nHe looked around him \nEverything was \"without form and void\". (Gen. 1:2) This was not the way he wanted it to be. \nSo God first turned on the light. (Gen. 1:3) Simply, by his word. \nHis word is powerful. God's word creates out of nothing. \nGod looked around, assessed, and said, \"This is good. \" \nThen God, the greatest biologist, chemist, physicist, economist, mathematician, artist, ... you name it, continued to create one thing after another by his word. \nAn impressive creation, in order. \nEverything found what he needed to live already created. \n(First day: light, day and night, Second day: the sky and the earth, \nThird day: the earth and the seas, vegetation of all kinds, \nFourth day: the sun, the moon and the stars, \nFifth day: living beings in the seas, living beings in the air, \nSixth day: living beings on the earth, and human beings) . \nAn impressive creation, the kingdom of God, magnificently created, \nin beauty, abundance and order, \nrunning smoothly in peace, and flourishing. \nOnly one thing remained to be done. \nWho would watch over this creation, work on it and take care of it, rule over it so that it would continue to function peacefully, multiply and flourish \n(Gen. 1:26, 2:15) . \n\"So (on the sixth day) God created human beings (man) in his own image. \nIn the image of God he created them . Male and female he created them . \" (Gen . 1:27) \nHe blessed them, gave them a specific task and showed them the food they would eat. \nAnd God looked around, evaluated, and said,\"It is very good. \" (Gen. 1:31) \nThen he rested on the seventh day. \n(Rest) \nSo where did we come from? \nWe are from God. We are not God. We are from \nGod. \nWho are we? \nWe were created by God. In his image. \nWe are image bearers \nWe are created with His character, God's character \n· of love, \n· of mercy, \n· of grace, \n· of holiness, \n· wisdom, \n· faithfulness, \n· truthfulness, \n· righteousness, \n· justice, etc. ... \nGod has imprinted his character in us, \nin the different and unique creative designs of each of us in this world (Ps 139:13-16, Jer. 1:5) \nHe has made us his image bearers . \n(Example: I have a picture of my husband on my phone screen. I see him through the picture. It's not him, but I see him through the picture. I remember who he is, what he likes, what he doesn't like, his d","cbCaibY9ZpKqWMt0","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaibY9ZpKqWMt0","pdf",2820731,1,31,"English","en",105,"# God’s Story Starts at the Beginning\n## Creation and God’s Nature\n## Humanity Created in God’s Image\n## Identity, Purpose, and Stewardship","[{\"question\":\"What questions does the text say every human being wants answered?\",\"answer\":\"Where do I come from?
