You will have 90 minutes to answer approximately 46 questions based on the following: \n• Quantitative Reasoning (45%), which includes problems with positive and negative whole numbers, decimals, and fractions; ratios, proportions, and percents; data and statistics; and geometric measurement \n• Algebraic Reasoning (55%), which includes expressions, polynomials, equations, inequalities, linear equations, quadratic equations, and patterns and functions. A variety of formats will assess evaluating, solving, and graphing skills in algebra. \nYou will need a minimum score of 150 to pass the Mathematical Reasoning Test, which is one of the four tests you will need to pass in order to earn a highschool equivalency diploma. \nTools \nCalculator For most of the test, you will be able to use either a hand-held or an online version of the Texas Instruments TI-30XS MultiView™ scientific calculator. You can access the online calculator by clicking on this icon. You can also take your own hand-held TI-30XS MultiView™ calculator to use on test day. \nFor the first five questions ","cbCailBsgkar5Bro","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCailBsgkar5Bro","pdf",5434042,234,"English","# About the test\n## Mathematical Reasoning\n## Tools\n# Computer-Based Mathematics Test Formats","[{\"question\":\"How long is the GED Mathematical Reasoning Test and how many questions are included?\",\"answer\":\"The test allows 90 minutes to answer approximately 46 questions.\"},{\"question\":\"What percentage of the GED Mathematical Reasoning Test focuses on quantitative reasoning and what topics are included?\",\"answer\":\"Quantitative Reasoning makes up 45% and includes whole numbers, decimals, fractions, ratios, proportions, percents, data and statistics, and geometric measurement.\"},{\"question\":\"What tools are allowed during the test, and when can you use the calculator?\",\"answer\":\"A scientific calculator is generally available (hand-held or online), but the first five questions do not allow calculator use.
