It is a review of the original marking. Only those marks that are a result of a genuine marking error, not a difference in judgement, will be changed. This service includes a second examiner looking at your exam paper to ensure the following: \n• All of the pages were marked \n• All of the marks were counted \n• The result matches the marks on the paper \n• The mark scheme was applied correctly to your original marking \nHow to Apply for a Review of Marking \nTo apply for a ROM… \n• Please make your purchase via the School Shop. You must provide your name and candidate number in the“cart notes” at checkout. \n• Prices are per paper, but multiple requests can be added to your basket/cart. \nWe recommend requesting a Review of Marking for one paper, per subject initially, as marks can go up or down. There is always a possibility that one paper can gain the extra marks you require, but the second paper could lose marks, meaning you end up in the same position. \nA post-reviewed script can be requested at the same time as requesting a review. This is a copy of your exam script after the second examiner has looked at it. It will include the original marking and updated marking (if any) . \n\n| Exam Board | Review of Marking* | Post-Reviewed Script |\n| --- | --- | --- |\n| Edexcel | £52.00 (10th February 2026) | £15.00 additional charge |\n| WJEC | £44.50 (10th February 2026) | N/A |\n\n*Review of Marking – Outcome within 20 calendar days \nScript Access \n• Access to scripts is FREE (deadline 10th February 2026). \n• Complete the Google Form linked on our website, under the Results section, to request copies of scripts. \n• Priority will be given to those requesting access to help with their ROM decision. \nStudents who are eligible for Free School Meals may be able to receive support from the school towards the cost of a Review of Marking. In this particular case, students or parents are welcome to contact the Exams Team directly via email for further guidance. \nRefunds \nIf your Review of Marking results in a grade change, you will be refunded for the paper. However, refunds will not be issued until after all post-result services have been completed and invoices have been sent to the Exams Office, normally this is April time. \nCertificate Collection \nThe Exams Office receive your official exam certificates from the Exam Boards around March time for the November exams. \nThe Exams Office will email and publish on the website/social media when they are ready for collection. This will be via your school email address. \nWe strongly advise that you collect your certificates in person, if you wish to pay to have them sent recorded delivery, then instructions will be given at the time on how you can do this. \nWe do not accept any responsibility for items posted out. \nIn line with JCQ Regulations any certificates that are not collected within a year of issue may be destroyed. In this instance you would then need to order certificates directly from the Examination Boards, there is a cost per certificate for this service. \nContacting Us \nFor any queries regarding your results, please visit the Exams Office or email [examresults@calday.co.uk](examresults@calday.co.uk)","cbCaipguKoSIKgal","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaipguKoSIKgal","pdf",125914,"English","# Key Information\n## Review of Marking (ROM)\n## How to Apply for a Review of Marking\n## Post-Reviewed Script and Fees\n## Script Access\n## Refunds and Timelines\n## Certificate Collection\n## Contacting Us","[{\"question\":\"If my grade feels too low, can I request a review?\",\"answer\":\"Yes.
