Each examination must be taken on the day and at the time shown on the timetable. \nCentres may change the starting time of an examination within the scheduled morning or afternoon session without notifying Cambridge OCR but candidates must start morning examinations no earlier than 8.30 am and by 9.30 am and afternoon examinations no earlier than 1.00 pm and by 2.00 pm. \nIf candidates are taking two or more examinations in a session and the total time is three hours or less, centres may decide the order in which to hold them. Centres may also give candidates a supervised break of no more than twenty minutes between papers within a session. This must be conducted within the examination room, under formal examination conditions at all times. This does not apply to candidates with approved supervised rest breaks. \nLeaving the examination \nCandidates must remain under supervision until 10.00 am for morning examinations and until 2.30 pm for afternoon examinations. For examinations of less than one hour’s duration, the candidates must remain under supervision for a period equal to the duration of the examination after the published starting time shown on the timetable. \nTimetable deviations \nIf you need to arrange overnight supervision, the forms do not need tobe returned to Cambridge OCR but must be completed and held in your centre records. When a change is made to the published starting time of an examination, it is the responsibility of the centre to inform all candidates affected by the alteration. \nInterboard Examinations Timetable \nThe exams timetable tool contains dates for Cambridge OCR, AQA, Pearson and WJEC examinations. It is available via The Exams Office website and can be used to search, collate, export and print timetable information. However, please note that you will need to be a member of The Exams Office to access the information. Enquiries about membership for this site must be submitted to The Exams Office directly and not the individual awarding bodies. \nCentres must ascertain the dates for any papers not shown on the Cambridge OCR timetable from Centre Data and Meetings: \nTelephone 01223 553998 \nEmail [timetable@ocr.org.uk](timetable@ocr.org.uk) \n© Cambridge OCR 2026 \nGCSE \nEnglish Language Mathematics \n\n| Week View | |\n| --- | --- |\n| Week 1 Monday 2 November – Friday 6 November | |\n| Week 2 Monday 9 November – Friday 13 November | |\n| | |\n| | |\n\n© Cambridge OCR 2026 \nGCSE Final Examination Timetable November 2026 \n\n| Code | Title | Duration | Day | Date/session |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |\n\nGCSE \nEnglish Language \nJ351/01 \nJ351/02 \nCommunicating information and ideas Exploring effects and impact \n2 h \n2 h \nTue \nThu \n3 Nov am \n5 Nov am \nMathematics \nJ560/01 \nJ560/02 \nJ560/03 \nJ560/04 \nJ560/05 \nJ560/06 \nPaper 1 (Foundation – calculator) Paper 2 (Foundation – non-calculator) Paper 3 (Foundation – calculator) Paper 4 (Higher – calculator) \nPaper 5 (Higher – non-calculator) Paper 6 (Higher – calculator) \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \nh 30 min \nh 30 min \nh 30 min \nh 30 min \nh 30 min \nh 30 min \nWed \nFri \nMon \nWed \nFri \nMon \n4 Nov am \n6 Nov am \n9 Nov am \n4 Nov am \n6 Nov am \n9 Nov am \n© Cambridge OCR 2026 \nWeek 1 Monday 2 November-Friday 6 November \n| Morning | | Date | Afternoon |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| Code Title | Duration | | Code Title Duration |\n\nMonday \n2 November \n\n| J351/01 | English Language: Communicating information and ideas | 2 h | Tuesday\u003Cbr>3 November |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| J560/01\u003Cbr>J560/04 | Mathematics: Paper 1 (Foundation – calculator) Mathematics: Paper 4 (Higher – ","cbCaivNrC3cspOfS","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaivNrC3cspOfS","pdf",217523,"English","# Starting times of examinations\n## Leaving the examination\n## Timetable deviations\n# Interboard Examinations Timetable\n# Week 1 timetable (2–6 November)\n## Morning and afternoon sessions\n# Week 2 timetable (9–13 November)\n## Morning and afternoon sessions","[{\"question\":\"What are the published starting times for GCSE examinations in the November 2026 timetable?\",\"answer\":\"All examinations start either 9.00 am or 1.30 pm.
