Law, Philosophy, Sociology, History, Psychology and Government and Politics are perhaps the subjects that most obviously develop the skills and understanding that can be gained from studying this course.  \nDoes Citizenship Studies GCSE really help in terms of careers?  \nThis is a good subject to consider if you are thinking of any career in areas such as law, social work, public services, the media and education.  \nWhat does the Citizenship Studies GCSE aim to develop?  \nThis course wants you to develop your understanding of how society works locally, nationally and globally. It aims to develop a strong grasp of the political, legal and economic functions of our country and beyond.
