It has many traffic initiatives which aim to enlighten the individuals of the best ways that must be instilled in road safety and abidance to laws and regulations of traffic. These initiatives makeus more careful when driving and help us avoid the negative attitudes that cause accidents on the road network despite of our repeated warnings of the risks of using the phone, excessive speed, wrong overtaking, traffic light violations and lack of usingthe allocated pedestrian crossing areas in addition to some other negativities we are seriously confronting. We are sure that the individuals of community, including drivers and pedestrians, have reached an advanced stage in understanding the principles and rules of dealing with road. This occurs as a result of the awareness which extends to cover a wide range of the various strata of society through cooperating with schools, universities and institutions. Abu Dhabi Police has a community partnership with all sectors that compete in reducing traffic accidents which have witnessed a decline in the past few years. That decline is due to the strategy of the Ministry of Interior which notably contributes to reducing the traffic accidents. The 30thGulf Traffic Week renews its activities every year within the GCC region. It is a call for the individuals of community to be committed to positive behavior and the appropriate traffic conduct in addition to encouraging the youth to apply the traffic culture. This culture aims to support the programs, the plans and the efforts exerted to save lives and property and reduce the effects of traffic accidentsand its consequent casualties and mortalities.  \nWe assure that the traffic safety constitutes our goalof interests atthe police institutions and the sectors of society which focus, through cooperation with the police, to promote awareness, establish the concept of road safety among individuals, call themto be committed to the ethics of appropriatedriving behavior, decrease the speed limit on the road, and respect others. It also aims to develop individuals› trafficculture, which varies throughout the year, in order to maintain the awareness that have been achieved in the field of traffic safety. In this context, we emphasize on the good outcomes of the traffic awareness strategy through the social media, such as the Abu Dhabi Program «Together»which aims to reduce traffic accidents on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in addition to the activities and initiatives of traffic that contribute inreducing the severity of accidents, the number of deaths, the crushesand the accidents caused by excessive speed, negligence and lack of attention.  \nWe hope for all safety, health and wellness.
