My first Gaelcon was 2013; I attended for one day, played a LARP,  \nshopped a bit, looked around, and then left, having had a good time. The following year  \nfriends suggested volunteering as they had heard mention they were looking for staff.  \nThat was 2014 and something stuck I guess! Gaelcon became a permanent fixture in my  \ncalendar, a place where I met many friends, tried many different games, and bought so  \nmuch merch. I've done a little bit of many parts of running the con since then, including  \nstaffing, events, trade,wrangling staff, and now director; some done better than others, but  \nfingers crossed this one turns out alright!  \nWe have aimed,as ever, to expand on what we're doing,to use your feedback to bring you  \nmore, better, and make Gaelcon feel like a convention that was well worth attending. We  \nmay be running around in the background, but our aim is to make things feel as clear and  \nstreamlined as possible for our attendees, bringing you a weekend where you can focus  \non the fun.  \nlam very thankful for those who agreed to be on my committee and help me put together  \nGaelcon 37,and for everyone else that has supported us in the run-up.
