When you tie one end of the string around the CD hole, be sure to keep the other end nice and long.  \nMaterials needed: an old CD, string or yarn, sparkly decorations (e.g., gems and glitter), colorful beads, glue.  \n1. Glue your decorations to one or both sides of your CD in an a-meow-zing pattern. If you don’t have gems or glitter, you can get just creative with markers! Check out the templates below on how to make your CD suncatcher look it’s made of like stained glass!  \n3. Have an adult help you hang your craft ina tree or on your porch and wait for the shiny CD to catch the sun!  \n2. Next, place the final activity card ontop. Then wrap the package again using the directions above. Continue until you have six layers of wrapping and activities. Your parcel is now ready to be passed  \n1. Unroll your wrapping paper or brown paper. Take the prize and place on the paper. Wrap the paper over the prize. Cut the paper. Fold the ends over the prize and tape the paper to secure the prize.  \n3. Of course, it’s best to add excitement to the game by playing Gabby’s theme song in the background while the game goes!  \nAre you ready to snap, bump, twist, and jump like a Gabby Cat?  \nMaterials needed: a small prize (e.g., a headband with cat ears), 6 activity cards, Brown paper or wrapping paper, Tape, Optional: Ribbon  \nHow to set it up:  \nWrite or print activity cards.  \nFeel free to come up with your own activities for the Pass the Parcel game.  \nIf you’d like some of our paw-some ideas as inspiration, here ya’ go!:  \n-Meow like a cat for five seconds  \n-Spin around five times like Cakey  \n-Name three characters from Gabby’s Dollhouse  \n-Do the Macarena!  \n-What color would your tail be if you were Mercat?  \n-Hop on one leg three times  \n3. Now, it’s Player 2’s turn to complete the next activity (e.g., meow like a cat for five seconds) written out on the new top card. Once he or she has completed the activity, Player 2 can unwrap a layer and pass the parcel to the left, and so on and so forth. Don’t fur-get each player has to complete the activity on the card before unwrapping a layer of the parcel!  \n2. To start the game, Player 1 must complete the activity (e.g.,“scratch it like DJ Catnip”) on the card atop the parcel before he or she can unwrap a layer. After unwrapping a layer, Player 1 should pass the parcel to the left.  \n4. Whoever unwraps the final layer of the parcel wins the prize inside!  \n1. All players should sit in a circle on the ground with the parcel in the middle.
