Tens of thousands of teachers continue to rely on it for support for lesson planning and curriculum development each week. In September 2022, Oak became an independent arms length body of the Department for Education.  \nOak’s purpose is to improve pupil outcomes and close the disadvantage gap by supporting teachers to teach, and pupils to access, a high quality curriculum.  \nOak will provide easy access to comprehensive set of high-quality resources, created through a broad system-wide partnership.
