All students enrolled in Geometry, Geometry Honors or equivalent course must take the Geometry EOC. Passing the FSA Geometry EOC is accomplished by earning a level 3 or higher on the FSA Geo EOC. The FSA Geo EOC is 30% of the student’s final grade* . Earning credit in Geometry can be done two ways: passing the FSA Geo EOC or passing the course once the FSA Geo EOC has been included as 30% of the final grade. Below is a table showing the Achievement Level and the Assessment Scale scores. \n\n| FSA Geometry EOC Assessment Scale Scores (425-575) | | | | |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| Level 1 | Level 2 | Level 3 | Level 4 | Level 5 |\n| 425-485 | 486-498 | 499-520 | 521-532 | 533-575 |\n\nAll information regarding the FSA Geo EOC can be found on the FSA Portal: [www.fsassessments.org](www.fsassessments.org. Each day is a 90 – minute session. The first session is a non – calculator session and the second session is a calculator – permitted session. There is a total of 64 – 68 items on the FSA Geo EOC, about 32 – 34 items per session. Students who are not finished after 90 minutes may continue working on the test, but must be completed within half of a school day. \nGraduation requirements: \nStudents must take the FSA Geometry End – of – Course Assessment and earn a credit in Geometry to fulfill their graduation requirement. \nFSA calculator, reference and formula sheets: \nDuring the calculator – permitted session, students will have access to an online scientific calculator. The calculator can be found at: [http://demo.tds.airast.org/TDSCalculator/TDSCalculator.html?mode=ScientificInv](http://demo.tds.airast.org/TDSCalculator/TDSCalculator.html?mode=ScientificInv). Students may use a hand-held scientific calculator provided it meets the functionalities put forth by the State. Below are some models that have been approved by FLDOE. \n\n| TI – 30Xa | FX – 260 Solar | EL – 501X | EL – 510 RN |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- |\n\nThe conversion tables and formulas that will be permitted on the FSA Geo EOC can be found at: \n[http://fsassessments.org/wpcontent/uploads/2015/01/FSAMathematicsReferenceSheetsPacket1_Updated](http://fsassessments.org/wpcontent/uploads/2015/01/FSAMathematicsReferenceSheetsPacket1_Updated)January-8 2015.pdf . \nTest breakdown: \nThe Geo EOC has three reporting categories that are weighted differently. The weighting of the categories is seen in the table below. \n\n| Category | Percentage |\n| --- | --- |\n| Congruence, Similarity, Right Triangles and Trigonometry | 46 |\n| Circles, Geometric Measurement, and Geometric Properties with Equations | 38 |\n| Modeling with Geometry | 16 |\n\nThe Test Item Specifications can be found at the following link: [http://fsassessments.org/wp](http://fsassessments.org/wp)content/uploads/2015/08/Geometry-Test-Item-Specifications. pdf. \nOther resources that may be used to prepare for the FSA Geo EOC \nFSA Practice Tests: While the practice tests provided are aligned to content standards, the primary purpose of the test is to provide opportunities for students to use the tools that will be used when answering the variety of question types on the Computer Based Test (CBT) . Students can access and take the tests as often as they like, but the questions will not change.
