ParkNew Jersey,better known as the Jersey Shore.I amthe daughter of Barbara Scales and Abdul RahmanHasan.I love my parents.I was taught to be strongand always believe in myself.When I was a child,Iknew I would be a strong mother one day and alwaystake great care of my children.I didn’t know too muchabout having Faith.My Great-Grandmother was thechurch goer.  \nGrowing up I was challenged with instability anddysfunction.My mother had me when she was only14 years old.That was a challenge in itself.I wasdealing with being the little cute chubby girl when Iwas young.That started self-esteem issues early in lifealong with being inappropriately touched at the age of  \n9.  \nWhen I was young,I developed a rare form of thyroidcancer in Middle School.One day in HomeEconomics class we were learning about iodinedeficiency and goiters.I felt my neck for a goiter andnoticed there was a growth on my neck.The schoolnurse sent a note home and appointments were madefor me to see the doctors immediately.  \nI had a long stay in the hospital due to the growthbeing found cancerous.  \nI often visited the other children on my hospital floor.While in the hospital I wanted to nurture the kids inthe pediatric unit that were sick.Even though I wassick,I wanted to help take care of the other children.I loved the children and their families.My childhoodfriends would visit me and show their support bybuying me scarves to go around my neck because Iwas self-conscious about the long scar the cancer hadleft on me.  \nThankfully I survived that cancer and have beencancer free for years.I had my first child at the age of  \n16.I knew that I always wanted to have kids so that Icould have someone to love on.I dropped out ofschool because I was unstable and had a baby to takecare of.I was homeless with a baby and a dropout.Iwas living here and there with family.  \nPrior to me having my baby we had a home we livedin for a little while that caught fire and I losteverything.This was my freshman year in HighSchool.I was the Freshman Homecoming Princessand had nothing to wear.My friends bought me anoutfit from the mall so I could participate inHomecoming.I remained positive through all ofthese things.  \nMy baby and I ended up in Foster care with a decentfamily.I was
