Newly released Federal Trade Commission data shows that consumers reported losing nearly $8.8 billion to fraud in 2022, an increase of more than 30 percent over the previous year. The main goal for us is to develop an efficient fraud detection system and utilize blockchain to create a decentralized banking application. Our team has collaborated on various cutting-edge technologies, such as machine learning and blockchain, to create a sophisticated fraud detection system. We have implemented three machine learning algorithms, namely Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, and Random Forest, which have been used to improve the accuracy of the model for detecting fraudulent activities. As for fraud aversion, we have used the Blockchain technology which provides a tamper-proof system that can securely record and track financial transactions, ensuring transparency and security. This feature makes it an ideal solution for fraud prevention, as it guarantees that all transactions are legitimate and free from any manipulations. By combining the power of machine learning and blockchain technology, our team is confident in providing an innovative solution that will benefit all stakeholders involved \nKeywords-MachineLearning, Blockchain, Algorithms, FraudDetection, Transactions. \nI. INTRODUCTION \nThe digitization of the world has brought about a plethora of benefits to society, such as greater connectivity, convenience, and access to information. However, it also comes with certain drawbacks that we cannot ignore. One of the most pressing issues is the rising number of fraudulent activities in various sectors such as banking, healthcare, retail, education, and charity. These sectors rely on online transactions and data storage methods, making them vulnerable to fraudulent activities. According to Juniper Research, online payment fraud losses are expected to exceed $206 billion by 2025. The effects of fraud go beyond financial losses and can have serious repercussions on an individual's personal and professional life. It can erode trust in institutions and systems and undermine the integrity of the entire financial system. To tackle this problem, our team has developed a comprehensive fraud detection system that leverages the power of machine learning and blockchain technology. \nOur primary objective is to build an efficient fraud detection system and use blockchain technology to create a decentralized banking application that is secure and transparent. Our team has collaborated on several state-of-the-art technologies, including machine learning and blockchain, to design a sophisticated fraud detection system. We have incorporated three machine learning algorithms, namely Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, and Random Forest, to enhance the accuracy of the model for \ndetecting fraudulent activities. These algorithms are used to identify patterns and anomalies in data that could indicate fraudulent activities. Blockchain provides a tamper-proof system that can securely record and track financial transactions, ensuring transparency and security. This feature makes it an ideal solution for fraud prevention, as it guarantees that all transactions are legitimate and free from any manipulations. Blockchain technology is designed to create a decentralized, transparent, and secure digital environment, where all financial transactions can be monitored in real-time. \nOur projec","cbCaigIXpkwtSPMb","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaigIXpkwtSPMb","pdf",665267,1,7,"English","en",105,"# Introduction\n# Aims and Objectives\n# Limitations of Existing System","[{\"question\":\"What problem does the project address?\",\"answer\":\"The project addresses the rising number of fraudulent activities in sectors relying on online transactions, especially in financial systems like banking.\"},{\"question\":\"Which machine learning algorithms are implemented?\",\"answer\":\"Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, and Random Forest are implemented to improve the model’s accuracy in detecting fraudulent activities.\"},{\"question\":\"How does blockchain contribute to fraud prevention?\",\"answer\":\"Blockchain provides a tamper-proof way to securely record and track transactions, ensuring transparency and reducing the risk of manipulations.\"}]","Fraud Detection Using Machine Learning and Blockchain | PDF",1785672365,18,{"code":4,"msg":31,"data":32},"ok",{"site_id":24,"language":23,"slug":33,"title":13,"keywords":34,"description":14,"schema_data":35,"social_meta":86,"head_meta":88,"extra_data":90,"updated_unix":28},"fraud-detection-using-machine-learning-and-blockchain","",{"@graph":36,"@context":85},[37,54,68],{"@type":38,"itemListElement":39},"BreadcrumbList",[40,44,48,51],{"item":41,"name":42,"@type":43,"position":20},"https://docshare.wps.com","Home","ListItem",{"item":45,"name":46,"@type":43,"position":47},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/","Document",2,{"item":49,"name":12,"@type":43,"position":50},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/research-report/",3,{"item":52,"name":13,"@type":43,"position":53},"https://docshare.wps.com/document/fraud-detection-using-machine-learning-and-blockchain/116901/",4,{"url":52,"name":13,"@type":55,"author":56,"headline":13,"publisher":58,"fileFormat":61,"inLanguage":23,"description":14,"dateModified":62,"datePublished":62,"encodingFormat":61,"isAccessibleForFree":63,"interactionStatistic":64},"DigitalDocument",{"name":9,"@type":57},"Person",{"url":41,"name":59,"@type":60},"DocShare","Organization","application/pdf","2026-08-02",true,{"@type":65,"interactionType":66,"userInteractionCount":4},"InteractionCounter",{"@type":67},"ViewAction",{"@type":69,"mainEntity":70},"FAQPage",[71,77,81],{"name":72,"@type":73,"acceptedAnswer":74},"What problem does the project address?","Question",{"text":75,"@type":76},"The project addresses the rising number of fraudulent activities in sectors relying on online transactions, especially in financial systems like banking.","Answer",{"name":78,"@type":73,"acceptedAnswer":79},"Which machine learning algorithms are implemented?",{"text":80,"@type":76},"Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, and Random Forest are implemented to improve the model’s accuracy in detecting fraudulent activities.",{"name":82,"@type":73,"acceptedAnswer":83},"How does blockchain contribute to fraud prevention?",{"text":84,"@type":76},"Blockchain provides a tamper-proof way to securely record and track transactions, ensuring transparency and reducing the risk of manipulations.","https://schema.org",{"og:url":52,"og:type":87,"og:title":13,"og:site_name":59,"og:description":14},"article",{"robots":89,"canonical":52},"index,follow",{"doc_id":7,"site_id":24},{"code":4,"msg":5,"data":92},[93,97,101,105,110,115,119,122,127,130,134],{"id":20,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":94,"show_sort_weight":95,"slug":96},"Story & Novel",90,"story-novel",{"id":47,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":98,"show_sort_weight":99,"slug":100},"Literature",80,"literature",{"id":53,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":102,"show_sort_weight":103,"slug":104},"Exam",70,"exam",{"id":106,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":107,"show_sort_weight":108,"slug":109},5,"Comic",60,"comic",{"id":111,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":112,"show_sort_weight":113,"slug":114},6,"Technology",50,"technology",{"id":21,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":116,"show_sort_weight":117,"slug":118},"Healthcare",40,"healthcare",{"id":11,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":12,"show_sort_weight":120,"slug":121},30,"research-report",{"id":123,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":124,"show_sort_weight":125,"slug":126},9,"Religion & Spirituality",20,"religion-spirituality",{"id":125,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":128,"show_sort_weight":125,"slug":129},"World Cup","world-cup",{"id":131,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":132,"show_sort_weight":131,"slug":133},10,"Lifestyle","lifestyle",{"id":135,"doc_module":4,"doc_module_name":46,"category_name":136,"show_sort_weight":106,"slug":137},19,"General","general"]
