Describes the challenges farmers face as land degradation, climate change, and economic shocks reduce farming resilience. Guides readers through harvesting at optimal times, sorting to remove diseased or damaged produce, protecting crops during transport, and reducing losses after harvest to increase food available for eating or selling. Introduces related Shell Books on preserving through drying and evaporative cooling.","Food and Farming An overview of relevant Shell Books \nlevel: intermediate \nEnglish Agriculture \nFood and Farming An overview of relevant Shell Books \nAdapted from various Practical Action publications with kind permission \nEnglish \nOxfordshire, England \nCopyright © 2021, MissionAssist \n[http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/](http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) \nYou are free to make commercial use of this work.
