Since the publication  \nof The Explorer's Guide to Wildemount in  \nMarch 2020,a couple different player primers  \nhave been published to help players integrate  \ntheir characters into campaign settings. Most  \nnotably, we've seen the Heroic Chronicle:Sword Coast and  \nthe North, which helps integrate characters generally into the  \nSword Coast, and the Player Primer: Icewind Dale, which  \nhelps develop characters specifically for the Icewind Dale:  \nRime of the Frostmaiden adventure module.  \nThis primer was designed specifically for the Curse of  \nStrahd campaign, to similarly assist in the character creation  \nprocess.
