This game teaches children to think about what numbers they could make using their dice roll with different arithmetic operators. \nAge range: 5th Grade+ \nNumber of players: 1 to 4 \nLearning: Add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers with numbers 1 to 6 You will need \n- Each player will need their own color counter \n- Three dice \nInstructions \n- All players place their counters on the start to begin the game. \n- Take turns to throw the 3 dice. \n- Use the numbers on the dice and your +, - , x and ÷ skills to make one of the numbers on the first Turkey. Tell the other players how you made the number. \n- Move your counter onto the number on first turkey’s tail feather. This number is now taken until you move off it. \n- If you can’t make a number on the first turkey, or if you get the answer wrong, you don’t move and you give the dice to the next player. \n- Once you are on the first turkey, you have to roll the dice to get onto the 2 nd turkey by making one of the numbers on its tail feathers. \n- As you progress along the path by jumping along the turkey tail feathers, there are fewer numbers to aim for making it harder. \n- The game finishes when a player manages to get to the Finish by making a 13 using the \n3 dice when they are on the 5th turkey. \nExample: If you roll a 3, 4, and a 5 you could make: \n12 [3 + 4 + 5], 6 [5 + 4 – 3], 17 [5 x 4-3], 11 [5 x 3 – 4], etc. \nVariations – if you want to change the rules \n- If you are playing this game on your own, see if you can complete the game in a set time, like 5 minutes. \n- Play the game with three eight-sided dice or ten-sided dice brings in a wider range of number skills. \n12 0 7 5 15 \n17 13 8 6 11 \n1013 \n20 \n5 16 \n149 \n104 \n7 \n12 \n15 \n11 \n9","cbCaiszyD9dT04sJ","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiszyD9dT04sJ","pdf",771551,"English","# Instructions\n## Setup and turns\n## Forming numbers on turkey feathers\n## Progression and difficulty\n## Winning condition (making 13)\n# Variations","[{\"question\":\"What skills does the game practice?\",\"answer\":\"It practices addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using numbers 1 to 6 based on the dice results.\"},{\"question\":\"How do players make progress during their turn?\",\"answer\":\"Players throw three dice and use +, -, x, and ÷ to create a number that matches a turkey tail feather.
