\n# Author's Note\n\nA confluence of events spurred the writing of thislittle book.I spent a couple of days with Randy Pope ofPerimeter Church in Atlanta,GA.I also seemed to beimpacted, perhaps more than I would suspect,of Eaglesfounder,Glenn Frey's,death. \nTime with Randy Pope spurred andinspired motivationsto help people who are searching.Glenn Frey's demise gaveme pause on the brevity of life and the weightiness towardsthings of eternity \nRandy Pope and Glenn Frey struck me at the intersectionof my insatiable need for approval and acceptance.Likeeveryone I know,I search too. \nThis short read is about approval, acceptance, and thesearch driving most if not everyone. It would seem sucha minimalistic book would be worth anyone's time forsomeone considering the greater matters attached to ourquest for approval and acceptance. \nI hope you'll give this,at least,a ten percent chance. The time invested here actually does represent such a smallpercentage of effort compared to what's at stake with asuccessful search or not. \nSo with that, let's go.Let's darken the doors of theHotel California to see if any answers are found there.Youcan check out any time you'd like, but you can never leave---is not so much true with this document. You can readand be done.Or you can read and possibly be found. \nHere's to your search. \n# Welcome To The Hotel CaliforniaIntroduction\n\n“And I was thinking to myself,'This could be Heaven,or this could be Hell.’Then she lit up a candle, andshe showed me the way. There were voices down thecorridor;I thought I heard them say... \nWelcome to the Hotel California.'Such a lovelyplace.Such a lovelyface.Plenty ofroom at the HotelCalifornia.Any time ofyear, you can find it here.” \n-Don Felder/Don Henley/Glenn Frey \nIn the long run,I have been a long time Eagles fan.Their familiar Greatest Hits LP,with a painted bird skullona bright blue background, was standard accessory for anyof my four Chevy Chevettes.I drove from Ohio to Arizonacrankin'my cassette player to:\"Well I'm a runnin'down theroad try'n to loosen my load,I've got seven women on mymind.…”I never dated any more than one girl at a time. The Eagles southern California country rock was simply \nTHE best background music to life in the bell-bottomed70s. \nThe genius behind the music was Don Henley andGlennFrey.Together they sold over 150 million records.I wasone of 42 million who gladly invested in the aforementionedEagles Greatest Hits(1971-1975) \nNow in my mid-50s,I often reach back to my past asa classic rock enthusiast. This rockin'reality prompted meon a recent Friday off to watch a documentary on Netflixcalled,“History Of The Eagles.”Since it was my day off,Iwas soaking the whole thing in with a cold Blue Moon, somefrozen pizza, and very wide eyes. \nI never knew Jackson Browne lived in a basementapartment below Glenn Frey.Browne would pound outthe music and lyrics, over and over,to tunes like \"DoctorMy Eyes.\"Frey would learn what the real disciplines of amusician sounded like, just by hearing the music, singing, and constant whistle of a teapot from Browne's humbleabode below. \nThere has been plenty documentation of disharmonyamong the exceptionally harmonious Eagles.Frey seemedto hate Don Felder.Randy Meisner was booted.Joe Walshremained with the band mostly because he remained high.Creative tension loomed between Frey and Henley.Thetension, which created incredible music and lyrics, was the","cbCaiaDKP6egvEAm","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaiaDKP6egvEAm","pdf",1940344,52,"English","# Table Of Contents\n## Author's Note\n## Introduction\n## Chapter One - The Search\n## Chapter Two - Imago Dei\n## Chapter Three - The Gospel\n## Chapter Four - What If?\n## Chapter Five - What About You?","[{\"question\":\"What prompted the author to write this short book?\",\"answer\":\"The author describes a confluence of events, including time with Randy Pope of Perimeter Church and the impact of Glenn Frey’s death.\"},{\"question\":\"What is the book’s central focus?\",\"answer\":\"The book centers on approval and acceptance, and on the search driving people in these areas.\"},{\"question\":\"How does the “Hotel California” theme function in the introduction?\",\"answer\":\"The introduction uses the Hotel California lyrics and imagery to frame the idea of looking for answers and being drawn into the search.\"}]","FINDING WHATYoU'RE SEARCHING FoR - Author's Note - Welcome To The Hotel California | PDF",1790637731,131]
