life,in childhood I had a neardrowning,a fall off a twenty foot wall, and Iwas attacked. As an adult I went through theloss of my mother,my only child, and dearfriends. In addition I lived through anaccidental propane gas inhalation,a \ntemporary total paralysis after surgery, and aviolent attempted murder by a stranger. \nIn the early 1970's I started writing poems aspart of my attempts to deal with post traumasymptoms.Soon I found I was writing poemsfor friends with problems. It became clearthat everyone struggles and faces emotionalminefields. We learn we are strong and wecan cope, and faith tells us that joy can comeback into our lives. \n# Table of Contents\n\nWindows in Walls \nLife's Struggles \nWhy Me? \nDissolved \nNever Enough \nDockside Farewell \nHold Tight
