There is also a grant to Fiji of $8.44 million from the Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response Trust Fund (Pandemic Fund) . Ms. Ye wished to be recorded as objecting.  \nDirectors expressed strong support for this operation and recognized the urgent need to address the noncommunicable disease emergency in the Pacific through a regional approach. Noting the project’sscalability, Directors also encouraged replication, including in small states in other regions. Directors noted the associated risks and stressed the need to address capacity and fragmentation gaps during implementation.  \nDirectors welcomed the establishment of a partnership platform, bringing together IDA, ADB, the OPEC Fund, and the Pandemic Fund. They welcomed this first project which uses the Full Mutual Reliance Framework (FMRF) between the ADB and the World Bank and asked that the Bank share lessons learned broadly with other teams working
