Feldsher  \nPotentate 2025  \nBefore I begin, I want to share a quote from President Harry S. Truman: “Although I hold the highest civil honor in the world, I have always regarded my rank and title as a Past Grand Master of Masons of Missouri, 33rd degree Mason, and Shriner as the greatest honor that has ever come to me.”Similarly, being elected Potentate to serve our Temple in 2025 is oneof my greatest honors. Truman’s words,“A  \npessimist makes difficulties of his opportunities, and an optimist makes opportunities of his difficulties,”have always resonated with me.  \nLady Dana and I thank you for your incredible support in electing me. Our family feels deeply connected to the Shrine, with my children Shayna, Rebecca, and Victoria considering it our second home. Iam blessed to have a supportive wife and daughters who allow me to dedicate time to LuLu. I would not be here without their unwavering support and yours.  \nI want to thank my in-laws, Noble Barry Oppenheim and his lady Vicki, for serving as my Chief Aide couple. They have always been there for us. Barry is more than a father-in-law; he is a close friend and a true Masonic brother. He will be assisted by another close friend, Noble Granville Ungerleider. Recorder Illustrious Sir Gary Davis, P.P. , brings extensive Shine and Masonic knowledge. Treasurer Noble Timothy “Boz” Bossert ensures financial  \nsecurity and compliance. Chief Rabban Noble Hillary Kaufman offers insights into membership and economics. Assistant Rabban Noble Joel Wolfert isan IT expert. High Priest and Prophet Noble Ray Bloemker provides proven leadership. Behind these great men are our wonderful women, without whom we would be nowhere.  \nIt takes a village, and LuLu is no different. Stu has set a goal of recruiting 100 new Shriners, and we need everyone’s help to make this possible. Being a Shriner is not a spectatorsport. We all know men in our Blue Lodges who would be great additions to the Shrine. We need new leaders to guide our Clubs and Units into the future!  \nPlease support us in the many ways possible to achieve this goal. We need you! Invite Masonic friends to our events. Join fun Units like Clowns, Trains, Rod & Gun, and more. As Ralph Nader said,“The function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not more followers.” Only with your help can we “Thrive in 2025,”  \nThis year, we have an exciting lineup of activities. We will start January with our annual Club and Units’celebration on January 11th, featuring food by PT&G Catering and a “Taste of Philadelphia. Followed by the 33rd Annual Masonic Breakfast on January 18th. BINGO is back for eight Sunday afternoons starting on January 19th.
