You need to show that you can give more than just very short answers. You have a good opportunity to develop your ideas in Part 2 of the test. \nPronunciation \nThe assessor will listen to how clear your \npronunciation is. This doesn’t mean that you are \nexpected to have a perfect English accent, but it does mean that the assessor shouldn’t have to work hard to understand what you are trying to say. \nInteractive communication \nThe assessor wants you to show that you are able to begin a conversation and also that you are able to listen to what your partner says and respond in an appropriate way. You may agree or disagree with your partner, or ask your partner questions. The assessor will check that you don’t hesitate too much, and that you are able to take turns with your partner, speaking when it’s your turn but also allowing your partner to speak. The interlocutor (that is the examiner who talks to you) also gives a global mark.","cbCaidFkP7VO1cpJ","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaidFkP7VO1cpJ","pdf",6998838,"English","# Part 3 (3 minutes)\n## Film club discussion task\n# Part 4 (4 minutes)\n## Follow-up questions\n# How we assess your speaking for FCE\n## Grammar and vocabulary\n## Discourse management\n## Pronunciation\n## Interactive communication","[{\"question\":\"What do candidates do in Part 3 of this FCE speaking sample test?\",\"answer\":\"Candidates discuss two film options and decide which two would be best for students to discuss, using the provided picture sheet and speaking for about three minutes together.\"},{\"question\":\"What happens in Part 4?\",\"answer\":\"The interlocutor selects one question from the given list to ask candidates about topics such as film popularity, film choices, preferences, and the importance of watching films in English.\"},{\"question\":\"How is speaking assessed in this sample test?\",\"answer\":\"Assessment focuses on grammar and vocabulary, discourse management (developing ideas), pronunciation clarity, and interactive communication, including listening, responding appropriately, and taking turns without excessive hesitation.\"}]","FCE SPEAKING SAMPLE TEST - First Certificate in English Speaking Test - Film club task script | PDF",1790763906]
