This is a source of great pride for our Faculty, and we therefore always want to welcome in the best possible way the students who come here to study courses or to carry out research.  \nExchange for research: If the student is interested in coming to FAU to continue their research, they should contact directly the professor with whom they would like to develop their work here at FAU.  \nAcademic exchange: this exchange consists of student mobility to attend disciplines at our institution. This is the main form of exchange currently, as foreign students can take advantage of the opportunity to learn about FAU's disciplines, as well as those of other USP units.  \nStudent Mobility at FAU-USP  \nAcademic Exchange  \nIn order to accept academic exchange students, it is important that the student and his/her home institution are aware of the procedures and information that will be detailed below.  \nCourse: undergraduate courses in Architecture and Urbanism, and Design are designed to last 5 years, therefore, even master's students who come from institutions that follow the 3+2 division are considered undergraduate students, as they have not completed their 5 years of study.  \nOther cases, for exchanges within our postgraduate programs, students must contact the  FAU Postgraduate Office directly.  \nHousing: USP does not have student housing for exchange students. However, there are several private housing options available around the university.  \nStudent Mobility at FAU-USP  \nAcademic Exchange  \nLanguage: FAU courses are taught in Portuguese, so we ask that students come to us with an intermediate level of the language.
