These children can no longer walk. The polio vaccine protects children from getting this disease. One vaccination each month for three months for all babies under one year of age protects against polio. A child who has been vaccinated will never be prevented from walking, running, jumping and dancing by this terrible disease.  \nAmi Lecteur,  \nTu sais que beaucoup d’enfants sont frappés par une maladie terrible, appelée poliomyélite (aussi connu sous l'appellation polio) et qu’ils ne peuvent plus marcher.
