freedom of thechurch and religious teaching in the schoolsas examples of Nazi persecution.  \nThe Cardinal laid down for GermanCatholics a set of ten rules“of our time”:  \n·Resist evil with all of be-fore the world,a modern St.George whosewords and deeds and spirit will be im-mortal,long after the final “Seig Heil”hasechoed its grisly way down to Hell.  \n·Do not unleash anger,but conquerirritation so that neither your conscienceis dulled nor your soul's power wastedin discouragement or discontent.  \n·Refresh the spirit from the best ofour culture so that peace may find youas did war.  \nFor the first time in its history in moderntimes,the Mass will be celebrated fromJune,1942 forward in Army Camps duringthe afternoon and evening.  \n·Help build up the society whichoffers
