Recently Andrea has taken up a role as an Associate Tutor at Edge Hill University on the PGCE Geography course and has been heavily involved in the writing and delivery of the online and face to face training for the new GCSE and A level Pearson specifications. Andrea has contributed to the writing of support materials for the new Pearson Edexcel GCSE Geography qualificationsand was an author for the Pearson paid for resources. She is currently the Assistant Principal examiner for the Pearson Geography B Paper 2 and a ATE officer for Pearson GCSE Geography. Alongside this Andrea is a freelance Geography consultant and teaching and learning trainer.  \nDan Mace is an Assistant Head at Langley Grammar School in Slough, and Specialist Leader of Education for Geography and Gifted/Talented. He arrived as an NQT in 2006 and has worked at the school as an ASTand Lead Practitioner specialising in creativity, technology and pedagogy. He has also been the Subject Leader for Geography and PSHE. Dan is a Pearson examiner, trainer and author.  \nSimon Holland is an RGS Chartered Geographer who has taught for many years in a successful Sixth Form College. He is a passionate geography teacher with a wealth of experience as an examiner, coursework advisor, subject specialist and CPD trainer and is a strong advocate for the subject.  \nBob Digby works as a freelance education consultant, having taught for 35 years. He spent 24 years working in three secondary schools in Leeds and London, and 11 years as a PGCE tutor at Sheffield, Manchester, and Brunel universities. He has been published extensively, writing course textbooks for Pearson Edexcel GCSE and A level specifications as well as articles in student journals such as‘Wideworld’. He is a former President of the Geographical Association and is currently its Honorary Treasurer. Bob currently marks for both GCSE and A level. He lives in Cornwall and therefore spends a good deal of time on trains!  \nBen Ward is a Senior Assistant Headteacher in a secondary comprehensive school in Lancashire. Ben has worked as a Geography consultant for Lancashire County Council hosting subject networks, leading CPD and supporting NQTs. Through his role asthe Director of Teaching School he has worked in partnership with a large number of schools across the North West, supporting whole school leadership as well as working with a number of geography departments on a broad range of topics including curriculum, assessment and teaching and learning. Ben has been a member of our examiner team since 2004 and is a former Principal Examiner for GCSE Geography. In addition to marking, Ben has produced a wide range of support materials for Pearson, including curriculum planners, schemes of work and getting started guides.
