The Manual was written in conjunction with the applicable FAR’s, FAA Exemption No. 6541 for applicable Spirit replica operations, and EAA policies and procedures, as amended. When a conflict arises between the FAR’s and EAA policies, the applicable FAR’s takes precedent unless the procedures in this Manual are more restrictive, in which case they take effect. There are three sections to this manual, the first is a general description of the operating requirements, the second covers Pioneer Aircraft Operations, and the third covers the Corporate Operations. All EAA aircraft operations personnel must become familiar with the sections in the Manual relevant to the type of operation they are flying. \nThis Manual has as its primary purpose the following: \n1. To provide for and ensure a safe operating environment for the EAA aircraft and its occupants; \n2. To establish policies and procedures to be followed by all flight and ground personnel in operating the EAA aircraft; \n3. To ensure compliance with all of the applicable FAR’s and FAA Exemption No. 6541 for applicable operations of the Spirit replica, as amended. \nIn order that future generations may continue to view EAA’s aircraft in the air as well as on the ground, it is imperative that everyone who represents EAA instills in themselves a combination of pride, professionalism and a high degree of personal skill. We must jealously guard the legacy and heritage we have been entrusted to preserve. \nThroughout this Manual, the term “EAA” refers to the Experimental Aircraft Association, Inc. \nRECORD OF CHANGES - REVISION DATE – 04/01/2006 \nPAGE \n1 \n2 \n3 \n4 \n5 \n6 \n7 \n8 \n9 \n10 \n11 \n12 \n13 \n14 \n15 \n16 \n17 \n18 \n19 \n20 \n21 \n22 \n23 \n24 \n25 \n26 \n27 \n28 \n29 \n30 \n31 \n32 \n33 \n34 \n35 \n36 \n37 \n38 \n39 \nVERSION \n20062004 \n20062004 \n20042004 \n20042004 \n20062004 \n20062004 \n20042004 \n20042004 \n20042004 \n20042004 \n20042004 \n20042004 \n20042004 \n20042004 \n20042004 \n20042004 \n20062004 \n20042004 \n20042004 \n2004 \nDATE \n04/01/06 02/10/04 \n04/01/06 02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 04/01/06 \n02/10/04 04/01/06 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 04/01/08 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \n02/10/04 \nSECTION \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \n1 \nREASON FOR CHANGE \nSAFETY OFFICER \nNEW EAA TITLE \nSAFETY OFFICER \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nSAFETY OFFICER \nNEW EAA TITLE \nSAFETY OFFICER \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nLANDING FUEL MINIMUMS \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nNEW EAA TITLE \nRECORD OF CHANGES - REVISION DATE – 04/31/2010 \n\n| PAGE | VERSION | DATE | SECTION | REASON FOR CHANGE |\n| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |\n| 40 | 2004 | 02/10/04 | 1 | NEW EAA TITLE |\n| 41 | 2004 | 02/10/04 | 1 | NEW EAA TITLE |\n| | | | | |\n| 1 | 2004 | 02/10/04 | 2 | NEW EAA TITLE |\n| 2 | 2004 | 02/10/04 | 2 | NEW EAA TITLE |\n| 3 | 2004 | 02/10/04 | 2 | NEW EAA TITLE |\n","cbCailjLH1OX4gB9","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCailjLH1OX4gB9","pdf",418012,94,"English","# Foreword\n## Purpose and scope\n## Definitions (EAA)\n## Record of Changes / Revision dates\n## Table of Contents - Management and operational control\n## Operational control and responsibilities\n## Weight and balance and runway limitations\n## Accident and incident notification procedures\n## Airworthiness, reporting, and maintenance requirements","[{\"question\":\"What is the primary purpose of the EAA Aircraft Operations Manual?\",\"answer\":\"To ensure a safe operating environment and to establish policies and procedures for flight and ground personnel when operating EAA aircraft, while maintaining compliance with applicable FARs and the FAA Exemption No. 6541 for Spirit replica operations.\"},{\"question\":\"How are conflicts handled between FAR requirements and EAA policies?\",\"answer\":\"When a conflict arises, the applicable FARs take precedence unless the Manual’s procedures are more restrictive, in which case the Manual procedures take effect.\"},{\"question\":\"What sections does the Manual include and who must review them?\",\"answer\":\"The Manual includes three sections: general operating requirements, Pioneer Aircraft Operations, and Corporate Operations.
