Master students can take courses freely but must read the previous knowledge requirements carefully. Bachelor students must check if they have acquired enough ECTS credits by the start of their exchange period for Master level courses. For those courses minimum of 114, 120 or 170 previously acquired ECTS credits are necessary. \n• Courses organized by a different faculty and not part of our list of English courses, can be selected by Erasmus+ Exchange student if the organizing faculty approves. Students should contact International Office FPPW in advance if they want to take such a course. \n3. Language proficiency and courses \n• Erasmus students are required to have at least a B2 level for English to succeed. Students wanting to attend courses taught in Dutch should have at least a B2 level in Dutch as well. The faculty does not require proof of the English/Dutch proficiency but trust on the good judgement of the sending university and the students themselves. \n• Students who wish to improve their level of English/Dutch can sign up for one of the language courses at CLT or ILT. \n• Incoming students can improve their knowledge of English at CLT. English classes can be added to the Learning Agreement if they are related to the exchange program and the home university agrees. A semester course is 4 ECTS credits. A full year course is 6 ECTS credits. Results of such courses are always in a \nPass/Fail system (i.e. no actual grade) . Registration fees can be found on the website. \n• For Dutch language courses we refer to the ILT (Instituut voor Levende Talen) :“ILT Erasmus course Dutch as a foreign language” (4 ECTS credits upon \ncompletion if the course is added to the Learning Agreement) and “Regular ILT courses Dutch higher level” (6 ECTS credits upon completion if the course is added to the Learning Agreement) . The results of these courses are shown in a scale 0-20. Registration fees can be found on the website. \n4.
