You should create subfolders for \nyear/semester as needed (Ex: Fall 2017) . If you are the coordinator and can’t access the folder, let Marcia know and she will modify your permissions. I am asking everyone to maintain assessments under the course number rather than faculty names for better continuity as coordinators tend to change over time. \nExam/Question Titles \nTo facilitate reporting, please adhere to the following: \nQuestion title: Exam\\#, Faculty name, lecture topic or session (Ex: Exam1, Craft, pain) \nExam title: Course, exam, year, semester (4010, Exam1, 2018, Fall) \nCoding Scheme \nAn updated coding scheme can be found on the login [page of ExamSoft:](page of ExamSoft: www.examsoft.com/ulmcop)[ ](page of ExamSoft: www.examsoft.com/ulmcop)[www.examsoft.com/ulmcop](page of ExamSoft: www.examsoft.com/ulmcop) \nQuestion sharing \nBest practices according to ExamSoft: \n1. Have the coordinator create the category for each exam (Ex: Fall 2018, PHRD4010, Exam 1) \n2. Have faculty create the questions in their own folders and tag with the above category. It may be necessary to share this folder with the course coordinator. \n3. Have coordinators create the assessment in the specific exam folder (Ex: 4010/Fall 2018/Exam1) . \n4. To add questions to the assessment, at the Add Questions to Assessment dialog box, search for questions by Category. Select the questions with the exam specific category and Add Selected to Assessment, then close the dialog box. \nThis will create the assessments in the proper location while allowing faculty to maintain the original location of the questions in their own folder and maintaining the integrity of the historical data attached to the question. \nLongitudinal Integrated assessments: \nIn each required didactic course, exams will include 2-3 longitudinal assessment questions per credit hour that are based on the material covered in the course. These questions may be embedded in any exams given during the semester. The focus of these questions will be of the scope and depth typical to NAPLEX questions. These items will be coded according to the coding scheme developed by the Assessment committee and located on the login page of ExamSoft. \nItems will be graded on the exams with assigned weights of 0. Students will not know which questions are purely assessment tools due to item randomization into the body of the exam. This will conform to the ACPE requirement for formative assessment as students will receive feedback regarding their performance on these exams. The longitudinal analysis function in ExamSoft will allow reports to be run at the individual and aggregate levels, satisfying this component of the ACPE standards. \nCourses for which there are no appropriate NAPLEX-type questions may request exemption from this requirement by contacting a member of the assessment team. \nQuestion weighting \nFor accuracy of the Academic Advising dashboard in Enflux, please enter the actual number of points for each item under the “weight” section in ExamSoft. This field defaults to a value of 1 in ExamSoft and needs to be changed unless the item is actually worth only 1 point on the exam. Enflux has created a weighted option for this dashboard that is only accurate when we enter the true point value for each exam item.","cbCailcTXHQyvS7O","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCailcTXHQyvS7O","pdf",163811,"English","# Folders\n## Exam/Question Titles\n## Coding Scheme\n## Question sharing\n# Longitudinal Integrated assessments\n# Question weighting","[{\"question\":\"How should assessment folders be organized for each course?\",\"answer\":\"Create a folder for each course, and add subfolders for year/semester as needed (e.g., Fall 2017).
