They acknowledged the Government's commitment to macroeconomic reform, including measures to foster an environment conducive to private investment and growth, and expanded access to finance, particularly for SMEs and enterprises owned by youth and women.  \nDirectors commended the CPF's selectivity and the coherence of its four outcome areas. They emphasized the importance of continuous engagement with Ethiopian authorities, stressing that macroeconomic stability, governance reforms and robust capacity building are critical to achieving tangible benefits and generating inclusive and sustainable economic opportunities across all regions.  \nDirectors underscored the importance of a flexible and adaptive approach to the program’s design and delivery. They welcomed the integration of FCV considerations throughout the CPF and its emphasis on protecting human capital gains. They noted the critical roles of achieving food security, strengthening the education sector, and fostering regional integration in ensuring the sustainability of the CPF’s outcomes.
