Details and a description of the examination are found at the EPPP link for the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards: [http://www.asppb.net/?page=CandHandbook](http://www.asppb.net/?page=CandHandbook) . \nAll applicants for registration as a Psychologist or Psychological Associate in Manitoba must write the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP) and obtain a passing score equivalent to 70% . Scores are now scaled so that a scaled score of 500 is equivalent to 70% . \nYou can apply to take the EPPP once you are registered with PAM as a Psychologist Candidate or Psychological Associate Candidate. You cannot take the EPPP until your membership application has been completed and approved by Council. If you are applying for registration in another jurisdiction, you should contact that jurisdiction for information on taking the EPPP. \nOnce you are ready to take the EPPP, you should notify the Registrar who will then register you with ASPPB to write the exam. Once you are registered for the EPPP you will receive an e-mail from ASPPB with further instructions on verifying your identity, submitting payment, and writing the exam. You will have 90 days to verify your identity and then an additional 90 days to write the exam. If you do not write within that window, you will have to re-register for the exam, and pay again. ASPPB is responsible for setting the fee for the exam and at this time, PAM does not charge anything for verifying your candidacy to write. \nWe are not able to recommend study materials. It is suggested that you consult with others who have taken the examination. You will be provided with a brief overview of the exam content when you apply however further details are available at the ASPPB website above.","cbCaio4KaNWtd39c","https://ap.wps.com/l/cbCaio4KaNWtd39c","pdf",164885,"English","# Application and Eligibility\n## Exam requirement and passing score\n## When applicants can take the EPPP\n# Registration Process and Timing\n## Notifying the Registrar and ASPPB registration\n## Identity verification and exam writing windows\n# Fees, Study Materials, and Resources\n## Exam fees and PAM’s verification\n## Study materials availability","[{\"question\":\"What exam is required for Manitoba registration as a Psychologist or Psychological Associate?\",\"answer\":\"Applicants must write the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP) and obtain a passing score equivalent to 70%.\"},{\"question\":\"When can an applicant take the EPPP?\",\"answer\":\"An applicant can take the EPPP once registered with PAM as a Psychologist Candidate or Psychological Associate Candidate, and only after the membership application is completed and approved by Council.\"},{\"question\":\"What are the key deadlines for verifying identity and writing the EPPP?\",\"answer\":\"After registration, applicants have 90 days to verify identity, followed by an additional 90 days to write the exam.
