Specifically, FMCSA should: (1) require anyone reporting to the Clearinghouse to immediately correct errors and notify employers and potential employers of the inaccurate data; (2) revoke Clearinghouse registration and access for those who fail to comply with Clearinghouse rules; (3) clarify that in addition to the administration petition process, individuals may still amend their records pursuant to the Privacy Act; and (4) implement privacy enhancing techniques like data deletion and anonymization.  \nEPIC is a public interest research center in Washington, D.C.
