I’ll be completely transparent and say that this was a series formerly published by Sourcebooks Casablanca and it was called the Swords and Scots series. I thoroughly enjoyed working with the good folks at Sourcebooks, but as primarily an Independent author, I was very glad to have the rights returned for the series because that means I get to do what I want with it—including fundamentally changing the books and updating the story a little.  \nSo, let’s be clear on what I mean by that—“fundamentally” changing the books.
